Lesson 3 John 14:1~3,13~18,26~27 God's Work - The Holy Spirit Is Working

1. Reality
   1) We studied only the theoretical, theological aspect of the Holy Spirit until now.
   2) Experience - The Bible does not end with merely a theoretical explanation of the Holy Spirit, but it records the actual and realistic enjoyment and experience of the Holy Spirit.
      (1) Genesis 41:38 - "Can we find a man like this, in whom is the Spirit of God?"
      (2) Ezekiel 37:1-10 - When the breath of life went into the dry bones, they turned into a massive army.
      (3) Isaiah 6:1~13 - When Isaiah was filled by the Holy Spirit, God gave him a historic answer.
      (4) Daniel 10:10~20 - When Daniel was filled by the Holy Spirit and prayed, God gave him a historic message.
      (5) Acts 1:4~8 - Acts 2:13(Mark's upper room), 19:1~8(Ephesus)

2. Experience the Holy Spirit
   1) Salvation (1 Corinthians 3:16) - indwelling of the Holy Spirit
   2) Walk of faith (John 14:16~17) - guidance of the Holy Spirit (victory)
   3) Power, witness, evangelism (Acts 1:8) - filling of the Holy Spirit (power)

3. How can we experience the work of the Holy Spirit?
   1) Within the depth of the grace that is in the Gospel.
      (1) Acts 9:1~15 - Paul met Christ on the road to Damascus.
      (2) Acts 11:25~26 - He received disciple training.
      (3) Acts 13:1~4 - He was commissioned as evangelist.
      (4) Philippians 1:12~21 - He confessed that if there is a way to testify the Gospel, then it is a gain for him whether he lives or dies.
      (5) Philippians 3:1~20 - He confessed that he considers everything else a loss to him because he has gained the greatest thing.
      (6) Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
  2) Through the experience of the Word and evangelism
     (1) Acts 13:1~12 - The proconsul who was seized by a sorcerer returned to the Lord.
     (2) Acts 14:14~28 - Disciples were found and raised even in the midst of persecution
     (3) Acts 16:13~40 - He met with Lydia, healed the demon-possessed girl, and miracles arose in the prison.
     (4) Acts 17:1~9 - Even though pursued by persecutors, the work of the Greeks, prominent women, and Jason returning to Christ arose.
     (5) Acts 18:1~4 - He met with Priscilla and Aquila
     (6) Acts 27:24~45 - He heard God's voice in the crisis of death.
  3) Within prayer
     (1) Scheduled prayer - designate a time and pray
     (2) Continuous prayer - always pray
     (3) Thoughts - pray even when thinking and making a decision
     (4) Worship prayer - pray while listening to the Word during the time of worship
     (5) Field prayer - pray to confirm and find answers in th field
     (6) Special prayer - do special prayer when prayer is not taking place
If you live experiencing the Holy Spirit, you will gain spiritual strength.
If you have spiritual strength, you can triumph in spiritual battle.
