True Blessings

Matthew 5:10~12 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

Jewish people had the same level of misunderstanding just like the people of the world. But the problem was, Christians had the same misunderstandings as well. True success is not about fighting and gaining victory, rather it is gaining victory without fighting. True repentance is correctly knowing the Gospel and returning to God. True blessings do not depend on good health, material wealth, prestige, or the prosperity of your children. The real meaning of true blessings is being blessed by God. What then are the true blessings that Jesus spoke of?

1. Changing Your Fate Through the Gospel and Living the Life of a Disciple(Matthew 5:1)
Blessings are not important. You must first change your fate and destiny. The true blessing is to live the life of a disciple and not as a member of the crowd. In Jesus's time, Israel was colonized by Rome, and Rome was colonized by Satan. When Jesus went up the mountain, the crowds and His disciples came to Him. Among them, the ones who knew who Christ was and understood Jesus's teachings changed their fate and destinies. Eventually, changing the fate of Israel and Rome as well.

2. Changing Your Fate Through the Gospel and Changing the Fundamentals of Your Life(Matthew 5:3~11)
The churches of the world are closing down and the future generation have fallen into the twelve problems given by Satan(Genesis 3, 6, and 11, Acts 13, 16, and 19, and the 6 states of the unbeliever). The truly blessed are those who look upon such an age and the next generation and pray with a mournful heart. Only through this true blessing can you change your fate and the fundamentals of your life. On the other hand, becoming a Pharisee while being colonized is not considered success. Living in good houses and having good jobs when the next generation has no choice but to fail, are not true blessings. Here is the reason why Jesus said that “blessed are the poor in spirit, those who mourn, those who are persecuted, and those who thirst and hunger for righteousness.”

3. Change Your Fate Through the Gospel and Enjoy the Blessing That Changes the Future
The true blessing that Jesus spoke of was to change the future. Moses and Elijah changed their lives at Mt. Horeb. The crowds and the disciples went up to Mt. Beatitude. The resurrected Christ called the disciples to the Mt. of Olives. There, He gave the message that completely changed their fate and all their present and future problems. If you hold onto the message of changing your fate and future, then you will be victorious.

[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, change people’s fate through the Gospel. Help me to live the life of a disciple and not the life of a member of a crowd. Change the fundamentals of my life, so that I can save the future.

[Bible Reading] Revelation 6

[Gospel Memory Verse] Philippians 4:6~7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
