Hidden Disciples

Joshua 1:1-9 / I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. (3)

Hymn #545 Down in the Valley Where the Mists of Doubt Arise (Unified Hymn 344)

Around Remnants, there are many people who cause difficulties and conflicts. At this time, there are some points that you must remember. It's unconditionally yielding to others and holding onto what's best that's hidden. Representative figures like Joshua and Caleb yielded everything and grabbed hold of what was best in the wilderness which was the most difficult to pass through. In other words, they were able to yield because they had already possessed what was the best.

1. Numbers 14:1~10
When faced with situations in which they have to make choices, most people are swayed by public opinion and the atmosphere. At this time, although Remnants must yield and help, they must hold onto the best covenant. Twelve spies from Kadesh Barnea went to the land of Canaan, returned, and gave a report. Among them, when 10 of them said Canaan was impossible to enter, all the people wept aloud. In the fields where Remnants go, there are many people who risk their lives on such wrong public opinion. However, Joshua and Caleb, who were men of faith, made a confession of faith that Canaan could be entered because it was the land given by God. After hearing their words, Moses chose to enter the land of Canaan instead of following public opinion.

2. Joshua 1:1~9
God told Joshua that He would be with him just as He was with Moses, and that He had already given the land of Canaan to him. Joshua held onto the Word given by God, crossed the Jordan River, destroyed Jericho, and received an unprecedented and never-repeated answer.

3. Caleb
Caleb was a better leader than Joshua. However, when his friend Joshua became leader, Caleb confessed that he would serve him just as he had served Moses. Before the final battle of Anak, when no one was willing to go, Caleb held onto the covenant that was given through Moses 45 years ago and confessed his assurance that if the LORD was with him, he could take possession of the land.

Remnants must study through the "prayer of 7·7·7." In doing so, the covenant given only to Remnants will emerge. Remnants praying and studying within the covenant means that they're holding onto their C.V.D.I.P. in advance and studying.

[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, thank you for calling Remnants in each age. May they become Remnants who prevent disasters. In the future, may they become witnesses who'll save churches and the field. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
