The Basis for Breaking the Old Frame
Joshua 1:1~9 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you. Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers to give them. (5~6)

Just before entering Canaan, God called Moses and appointed Joshua as the new leader. God commanded Joshua nine times, “Be strong and courageous, and do not be afraid.” Like this, God is with those he appoints in spirit and provides help and strength. God sends His angels and gives answers through the blessing of the Heavenly Throne and breaks down the forces of darkness wherever His people go. This is the basis for breaking the old frame. God gave Joshua His Word to break free from his old frame. What was His Word?
1. Cross the Jordan River
God told Joshua to hold to the covenant and cross the Jordan River with the people of Israel. Forty years before, God had told the Israelites to cross the Red Sea. He wanted the next generation to have the same experience. He promises that you will never understand Him with your level, so that is why a life of faith is about discarding your own thoughts and grabbing hold of the Gospel.
2. Save the Family, Field, and World
With the answers that have been already given, you must save your family, field, and the world. God had already given Joshua a covenant(Joshua 1:3). God’s people just need to hold onto that same covenant. Not only did God draw clear boundaries(Joshua 1:4), He also promised the Israelites that He would be with them and make them prosper(Joshua 1:5 and 7). Like this, children of God just need to hold onto the covenant and stand before Him. Then, you can confirm the answer of God’s provision.
3. Follow the Path That God Has Worked On
God told Joshua, “Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.” This was God’s method for Joshua to grab hold of His Word and follow the path that He had worked on. In other words, the Exodus was God’s will and the opportunity for Joshua to stand in that line. Everything that happened in the wilderness and entering Canaan was according to His will. Nobody could block these works from happening.
[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, I will grab hold of the Word to break free from my old frame. Please open my spiritual eyes, so that I am not deceived by the forces of darkness.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
