The Eternal Disciple the Remnant Must See

2 Kings 6:8~23 / “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “O LORD, open his eyes so he may see.” Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. (16~17)

The most important aspect for Remnants to focus on is finding eternal disciples, To do this, there are three essential perspectives that Remnants must always remember.

1. Hidden Disciples - 100 People (1 Kings 18:1-15)
First, they must recognize the existence of hidden disciples. Hidden disciples are those who possess life. These individuals would survive even without Obadiah’s help, but the greater blessing is that Obadiah saw that. Disciples who possess life will survive anywhere and become those who are willing to stake their lives for others. To become disciples who can save lives, Remnants must have these qualities. Those who possess life know where to stake their lives and will understand the time schedule for saving others. This was Obadiah’s role, and it’s the same for today’s Remnants.

2. Remaining Disciples – 7,000 People (1 Kings 19:1-21)
Second, there are the remaining disciples, the 7,000 whom God directly identified. (1 Kings 19:1-21) These disciples rose through the spiritual victories at Mt. Carmel and Mt. Horeb and the mysteries that were shared between Elijah and Elisha. After 40 days and nights of travel, when Elijah was weary, God sent an angel to strengthen him, leading him to Mt. Horeb. The most significant moment was when God revealed to Elijah the tasks that he was to complete and spoke to him about Elisha.

3. Victorious Disciples - Dothan (2 Kings 6:8-23)
Third, there are disciples who will gain victory through spiritual power. These individuals are aware of the supernatural power given by God, (2 Kings 2:9-11) have spiritual eyes to summon the heavenly armies, and possess the strength to win without engaging in battle.

Remnants must first imprint God’s Word in their hearts through faith. Wherever they go, with the eyes of their hearts, they must seek out true disciples and establish “absolute bartizans.” True disciples are unwavering and are led by God’s Word rather than people’s words. When Remnants find and establish just one true disciple, all answers will follow. All of God’s blessings will be relayed to Remnants who seek out and raise true disciples.

[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, I give glory to You for opening “The Remnant Age.” May true disciples arise. Help me establish “the absolute bartizans” that'll block darkness and disasters. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
