What to Do with the Unchanging Adult Generation?

1 Samuel 1:12~18 Then Eli answered, “Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition that you have made to him.” And she said, “Let your servant find favor in your eyes.” Then the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad. (17~18)

  Believers in the 99.9 percentile are suffering because they are holding onto things that are not of the Gospel. The high priest Eli grew old, his spiritual eyes began to dim, and he lay in his room. During this time, Eli’s sons stole the offerings that were given as sacrifices from the temple. Even Hannah, unable to bear a son, grew envious of Peninnah, Elkanah’s second wife, and ended up tormenting her husband for this. However, during this hardship, Hannah finally held onto what God desired and began to pray. Likewise, what content of prayers grants answers?

1. God’s Word
  God’s Word is unchanging for eternity. If you are able to experience the Word in your walk of faith, you will be able to save your family and field. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever(Isaiah 40:8). Not an iota, not a dot will pass from the Law until all is accomplished(Matthew 5:18). The Word of God is living and active(Hebrews 4:12). If you pray holding onto the covenant that is absolutely unchanging, God will answer according to His time schedule.

2. The Gospel
  The Gospel is unchanging. The power of the Gospel is revealed even now through the covenant of the offspring of the woman(Genesis 3:15), blood sacrifice(Exodus 3:18), Immanuel(Isaiah 7:14), and Christ(Matthew 16:16). You must change your prayer topics and hold onto the Gospel. The prayers of those who save people and receive answers are different. Daniel and his three friends, as well as Esther, held onto the Gospel and prayed. Through this, they all experienced God’s amazing works.

3. The Evangelism Movement
  Just as the Gospel is unchanging, the evangelism movement is unchanging as well. For believers, there is no greater blessing than being within the evangelism movement. If God uses the businesses of church officers for the evangelism movement and world evangelization, there is no one who will be able to block them because Jesus proclaimed that the end would come only after this Gospel has been proclaimed to the whole world(Matthew 24:14).

[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, may I be able to recognize and hold onto what You desire. May I go all in for Your Word, the Gospel, and evangelism movement, which are unchanging.
