You must change hardships and sufferings into the greatest blessing. Even amidst sufferings, Paul said, “Present your request to God with thanksgiving.” It’s because he firmly believed that his suffering was part of God’s time schedule of preventing disasters from befalling Israel and Rome. Also, just with Joseph alone, he was able to stop a global crisis by holding onto God’s covenant. Even the suffering that Moses and the Israelites faced turned into their greatest opportunity. The trials that came to David became the very means through which he saved Israel and the world, as well as blocked the forces of darkness. The 7 Remnants and the people of Hebrews 11 were witnesses of this. When great suffering comes your way, you simply need to discover an even greater plan and answers God has in store for you. John Bunyan wrote The Pilgrim’s Progress while he was in prison and william Barclay once said, “The suffering Paul faced was the greatest privilege God gave to Paul.” Charles Spurgeon even described it as, “Rome and the prison were the ones imprisoned to Paul.”

1. Christ Who Came as the Solution to Life and Disasters (Philippians 2:6-8)

Dear God, may today be the start. May the evidence be revealed in the place that is the most difficult in my life. May my weaknesses be the place where Your power is revealed. May my sufferings and hardships be the place Your blessings are revealed. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
