The War Against Idols

Daniel 3:16~18 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

  God absolutely gives His Word to individuals and organizations that relay the Gospel. That is why God delights in those who are cognizant and fight against the channels Satan works in. Idols completely crumbled down through individuals like Moses, Samuel and David, Elijah and Elisha, and Paul, who were cognizant of the channels that Satan operated in. Likewise, God completely overturned this flow through the 0.1% minority who possessed the Gospel. If that is so, how were Daniel and his three friends Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego used for God’s work?

1. The Foreseen War
  Daniel and his three friends were taken as Babylonian captives. However, they had already foreseen this war. In other words, they viewed this war as a war that had already been won. Thus, there was no reason to fear. The three young men boldly destroyed Satan’s strategy through this war; they didn’t even fear the king’s power or authority. They were even cognizant of the fact that the people who obeyed the king’s decree of worshiping idols would eventually be destroyed due to their idolatrous acts. Also, they clearly saw how Satan was using this as his channel.

2. A War Against Unworthy Opponents
  Daniel’s three friends engaged in war with opponents who were unworthy because they already knew the fact that against God, Satan was an unworthy opponent. Therefore, they didn’t have any fear at all. Likewise, if you hold onto this covenant, you will realize that Satan and his dominion are unworthy as well. Furthermore, you possess the unseen Heaven as your personal background; you simply need to believe in this fact.

3. World Evangelization That Rightfully Takes Place
  World evangelization will be absolutely carried out, and God desires to carry this out through you. Daniel’s three friends were cognizant of the fact that the attacks from Babylon were paths that further opened the way for world evangelization. Moreover, even though they possessed the Gospel, they knew it was God’s guidance for them to be taken captive in order to become true evangelists. In the field where they were taken as captives, they faced an incident were they had to bow down before an idol and refusing to do so meant death. Through that incident, the three young men, who defied the King’s decree, personally experienced God’s tremendous works. Likewise, God bestows all blessings to those who possess the message and answer to save the field.

[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, may I discover the channels that Satan uses and fight the already won spiritual battle. May I also experience world evangelization that will absolutely take place.
