The Field of the Greatest Answer
Acts 2:1~13 When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. The believers of the Early Church were cognizant of the answers they had received. Furthermore, they had already prepared their vessels to receive these answers. God desires to bestow the same blessings and answers to you as well. Then for this to take place, you too must prepare your vessel to receive God’s answers. At that time, the believers of the Early Church were cut off from the world in the midst legal and political crises. Yet, they were able to discover God’s answers within these circumstances and resolved to enter within His plan. If that is so, what kind of vessel must you prepare?
1. Mt. Calvary - the Vessel of the Word
You must prepare a vessel to store the words that Jesus proclaimed. Before Jesus ascended, he stated at Mt. Calvary that the end would come only after the Gospel was proclaimed to all nations(Matthew 24:1~14). Thus, there is no reason for you to worry. Even though there may be many fake believers and those who hold empty lamps, He told you not to waver(Matthew 25:1~46). Afterward, the resurrected Jesus commanded His disciples to go to all nations(Mark 28:16~20) and promised the greatest power, the filling of the Holy Spirit which was something nobody else could give(Acts 1:8).
2. Mt. of Olives - the Vessel of Your Mission
Those who held onto the covenant of Mt. Calvary gathered at the Mt. of Olives. They not only prepared their vessels for the Word, but they also prepared their vessels of discovering their God-given missions. At that time, Jesus explained for 40 days the mission of testifying that He was the Christ. In addition, He also explained the mission of the works of God’s Kingdom which was a mission they had to carry out in Rome and in their fields. The people who gathered at the Mt. of Olives held onto this covenant as their mission.
3. Mark’s Upper Room - the Vessel of Power
The people who held onto the covenant of Mt. Calvary and discovered their God-given missions on the Mt. of Olives gathered at Mark’s upper room and prepared their vessels to store God’s power. The blessings of the Passover, Pentecost, and Ingathering, as well as the works of the Holy Spirit that were promised to the prophet Zechariah were fulfilled by God at Mark’s upper room. Moreover, through the people who had already prepared their vessels, the wind and fire-like works of the Holy Spirit took place(Acts 2:1~47).
[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, may today be the day when I make a resolution that saves the age; may I prepare my vessel to store Your Word, mission, and power.

[Gospel Memory Verse] Hebrew 4:12
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
