1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

All the events that have occurred in the world are of God’s divine allotment.intent An example would be the time when Joseph was taken as a slave. Within His divine allotment, lays His plan called the Gospel. When you know this fact, you will receive great answers in the future through the small works you do today. What are those works?
1. Jethro(Exodus 3:1~18)
Elder Jethro was Moses’ father-in-law. He saw that the fugitive Moses was someone whom God would raise as a leader, and as such, Elder Jethro entrusted his flock to him. This was God’s divine allotment that others could not see. Anyone can be given work to do; however, not everyone can easily discern whom God’s servants and leaders are. This small work has brought about a great future. Until that appointed time, Jethro waited for God’s time schedule and did not lose hold of His covenant for him.
2. Rahab(Joshua 2:1~24)
Rahab, who knew God’s plan, purposely lied, and saved two spies. She made the true confession that Jehovah God was the true God. And just as she said, the Israelites entered Canaan.
3. Obadiah(1 Kings 18:1~15)
King Ahab had many servants, and they had to obey his commands. Among the evil King Ahab’s many servants, Obadiah was the best and most acknowledged. Simultaneously, Obadiah was also Elijah’s disciple. Obadiah possessed the spiritual mystery, followed God’s divine allotment, and helped hide and support a hundred prophets of God.
4. Businesspeople Who Saved Rome
Phoebe became the patron of Paul and the early church(Romans 16:1~2), Priscilla and Aquila became Paul’s co-workers(Romans 16:3~4), and Gaius was a host who supported the church and the believers(Romans 16:23). Although these devotions may have seemed small, they became the platform of answers for Rome evangelism and world evangelization.
[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, help me to know that all things are within Your divine allotment; lead me to discover Your plans within it; help me to remember that great answers begin with small works; and assist me to live in the “today” that leads to true success.

[Gospel Memory Verse] John 15:16
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
