The Mission for Translators and Interpreters
Romans 16:1~2 “I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a servant of the church at Cenchreae, that you may welcome her in the Lord in a way worthy of the saints, and help her in whatever she may need from you, for she has been a patron of many and of myself as well.”
♬Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #461 “Are Ye Able,” Said the Master (#519 in the previous version)

The changes in your life start from the very small things that are unseen before your eyes. God is the God of the covenant, and you are a person of the covenant who is on the Covenant Journey. It does not matter whether people are great or insignificant. The most important fact for those who are in the Covenant Journey is if they have someone and a region where they can relay the covenant. People who are entrusted with the mission to communicate the message are translators and interpreters. How important is the work that the translators and interpreters do?
1. Relaying the Covenant
They relay the covenant and not the works of the world. Although Moses carried out many important tasks, the most miraculous one was leaving behind the Pentateuch. He recorded the covenant and relayed it; Samuel recorded 1 and 2 Samuel and relayed those; David left behind his confessions of faith as poetry;(the book of Psalm) and Paul left behind his epistles.
2. Relaying the Message
God’s covenant comes to you as a message. Especially to those scattered Remnants; multiethnic Remnants; TCKs(Third Culture Kids) who are in the midst of different cultural backgrounds; CCKs(Cross Culture Kids) who are lost in chaos; and NCKs(No Culture Kids) who are lost in darkness, the message must be quickly relayed. Those appointed to play important roles in carrying out this task are the translators and interpreters. When the message is relayed to Remnants on a long-term basis, they will experience the correct Gospel and biblical evangelism resulting in the missions’ field and church being revived.
3. Communication(Colossians 4:7~9)
Translators and interpreters will be able to communicate with God through the message; they will be able to communicate with evangelists; and furthermore, they will be able to communicate with the field. Tychichus who knew the situation Paul and his team were in announced it to the church and comforted the believers’ hearts and minds. Likewise, translators and interpreters carry out the work of bringing the Word of the covenant to individuals. This is the greatest ministry of bringing the Gospel to the multiethnic people who have never heard the Gospel before.
[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, use me in the important work of relaying the covenant and message to all people and regions.

[Bible Reading] James 2
[Gospel Memory Verse] 1 John 5:14
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.
