If you incorrectly relay the Gospel to children, they will either get sick and tired of the Gospel or pray out of mere habit. That’s why it is important for the correct Gospel and prayer to be imprinted in the Remnant through their daily lives. It is good to apply the Gospel(Christ, God’s Kingdom, and only Holy Spirit) by making songs(songs about prayer, daily life, and solving problems) or writing prayers. The Gospel and prayer that are imprinted at a young age become a great work that transforms the world. Then, what must you take as reference from the 7 Remnants(Joseph, Moses, Samuel, David, Elisha, Isaiah, and Paul) who transformed the world? Also, what is the role of a Remnant minister?
1. The Imprints of a Remnant’s Prayer
Joseph experienced the sadness of losing his mother at a young age, but that was an important time schedule when prayer and the Gospel were imprinted in him(Genesis 37:1~11). Jochebed imprinted the Blood Covenant to baby Moses. Later, Moses recorded the book of Genesis with this content in the Midian Desert and received accurate answers in the wilderness(Exodus 2:1~10). Samuel was imprinted with the Gospel and prayer at a young age to the extent that not even one of his words fell to the ground. He also became the main figure who raised the Mizpah movement(1 Samuel 2:1~10). David was imprinted with prayer early on to the extent that he left behind amazing masterpieces as a shepherd(Psalms 78:70~72), and he defeated the Philistines with that strength. Because the covenant was already imprinted in Elisha, a farmer, he quickly accepted Elijah’s call. Moreover, he began the Dothan movement that nobody else thought of(1 Kings 19:19~21). Also, God gave the power of the throne to Isaiah who possessed the mystery of prayer and allowed him to know the covenant of the Remnant(Isaiah 6:1~13). Timothy knew the Bible since he was young, so Paul was able to easily plant an important message in him(2 Timothy 2:1~7).
2. The Results of Being Imprinted with Prayer
Like this, if the Gospel and prayer are imprinted in the Remnant, having scheduled prayer becomes easy. In the midst of enjoying scheduled prayer, the Remnant can enjoy the Gospel and prayer for “24 hours” regardless of his situation and experience the answers of “25 hours” and “eternity.” Then, he will possess the strength to focus on the Lord no matter what hardships come his way. This is the strength of concentrated prayer.
[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, before anything else enters the Remnants, may they first be imprinted with the Gospel. May the mystery of prayer be imprinted in them before any other habit enters them as well. Help them to become the main figures who will transform the world.
Remnant Ministers and Teachers’ Seminar (Prenatal · Infant and Pre-School · Kindergarten), Lecture 1 / June 4, 2019
[Bible Reading] 1 Peter 1
[Gospel Memory Verse] Jeremiah 33:2~3
Thus says the LORD who made the earth, the LORD who formed it to establish it—the LORD is his name: Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
