World history is a record of victors and usually an account of powerful nations. Looking back through history, it may appear that the present has advanced, but in reality, spiritual problems have become worse. Those historic victors and powerful nations might have conquered others, but they were spiritually ignorant. Christ alone is God’s complete answer. How can you find the treasure that yields this mystery and take possession of that treasure field?
1. The Identity and Authority of Those Who Have the Treasure Field of the Gospel
The blood of the lamb that freed the Israelites from Egyptian slavery was the Israelites true treasure. Returning from Babylonian captivity and rebuilding the temple was the path of finding the treasure as well. The believers of the Early Church were colonized by Rome, but they refused to worship the emperor and confessed Jesus as their Master. You must be able to enjoy your identity and authority as someone who possesses that treasure.
2. Have Assurance of the Future Treasure Field in the Gospel and Challenge
After the farmer discovered the treasure field, he sold his entire property and bought it. Likewise, those who confess Jesus as their Master can be confident of their future. God has given you all authority to make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:16~20) In addition, He gave signs to share the Gospel to all people. (Mark 16:15~18) Furthermore, He gave the command to become a witness of Christ to the end of the earth. (Acts 1:8)
The true treasure that you possess is not a treasure of the world that is momentary, but it’s the Gospel of life that can never be taken away. God will open your eyes and ears and surely give you correct faith and true power.
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, help me to heal the world and save the field with the true treasure that I possess.

[Deep Questions] Q. Shalom(שָׁלוֹם), “Are You at Peace?”
There once was a rich person. However, there were always constant rumors about war and commotion. The rich person sold his property in exchange for treasure of great value.
“Where would a good place be?”
This was his question before fleeing to a refuge. Without anyone knowing, he buried his treasure deep in his field. However, that rich person could not return to his home.
How much time do you think passed?
There was a farmer. He did not own his own land, so he borrowed someone else’s and worked on it.
“Where would a good place be?”
This is what he asked himself while looking for the right place to plant his crops. Soon, the farmer became completely surprised. For in that place, he found a treasure of great value that had been buried.
Again, how much time do you think passed?
Finally, the farmer sold all he had and bought that treasure field.
“Are You Truly at Peace?”
Just as wars in Israel did not end, the surrounding environments are struggling with hardships and distress. However, Christ is your treasure. When He becomes everything in your life, only then will true peace come.
