Philippians 3:8~21 Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ... (8)

Why is “today” important? First, in order to solve past problems, you need to receive the “answers of today.” Second, if you enjoy the “blessings of today,” you can prepare for the future. The results of your past are revealed in your spiritual state and become connected to your future. Are you holding onto “today” and concentrating on the Gospel at every moment?
1. The Importance of the Spiritual State and the Start of Today
You have received salvation by the grace of God. You must instill a spiritual state that focuses on God because it is absolutely impossible to accomplish it with your own strength. Paul was more sensitive to spiritual conditions than anyone else. As a witness of the field, he saw the covenants of the Passover, Pentecost, and Feast of Ingathering become fulfilled on Calvary, the Mt. of Olives, and at Mark’s upper room. In order to create your best spiritual condition, you must always begin everything with Christ, God’s Kingdom, and the filling of the Holy Spirit.
2. The Process of the Spiritual State and Its Future Direction
In the process of enjoying your spiritual state, you must discern what is exceedingly good. (Philippians 1:9~11 and 12~14) If you can meditate on “only Christ” even when you are persecuted without reason, then you can restore your identity that is in Christ. (Philippians 3:8~21) Starting now, you must correctly confirm the future direction of your spiritual state by following the guidance of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 13:1~4, 16:8~10, and 19:1~7)
As long as your spiritual state is upright, God will work through His Word.(Acts 19:21, 23:11, and 27:24) As a result, you will gain victory without fighting your adversaries; you will succeed without competing against anyone; and you will even restore the economy of light that has been stolen from you.
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, as a person who is moved by Your Spirit, help me to possess a spiritual state that solely concentrates on You.
New Believers and Field Ministers’ Retreat, Lecture 2 / October 22, 2019
[Deep Questions] Q. Have You Examined Your Spiritual State?
When you receive scars from your family; (Genesis 41:38)
when you face a great crisis in your life; (Exodus 3:18~20)
when you meet loneliness that is hard to endure; (1 Samuel 3:19)
when the time comes to solely look toward God; (Psalm 78:70~72)
whenever your great conflicts deepen; (2 Kings 2:9~11)
when all hope is lost and you feel as if taken captive; (Isaiah 6:1~12)
when your nation collapses, becomes colonized, and is scattered, (Philippians 3:8~21)
then your judgement and decisions change depending on your spiritual state. The confession of faith that you make today will eventually become your future.
“For he says, ‘In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.’ Behold, now is the favorable time behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2
