The way of Salvation to meet God

 

 

1. Who is God in a word?

 

Gen1;1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.“

 

God is the Creator who created all things in the universe, He created the universe human centered and finally created man.

 

 

2, the original man (Gen1;27-28, John4;24, Gen2;7, Isa43;21)

 

God created the wild animals according to their kinds, however Unlike the animals, He created man specially.

 

Gen1;27-28 "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

 

 

Why did God create man in his own image?

 

Trees are happy when they take strong root in the land, fishes are happy when they can swim in the water with their fin, birds are happy when they can fly freely in the sky. Likewise, the reason why man has God's image and soul is that they are happy when they are with God.

 

 

3. fundamental problem

 

man, of course is meant to be happy but why are they suffer in pain struggling day and night and yet not happy?

like it or not, all man has three fundamental problem by birth.

 

 

(1) The cause of all prolems (Gen3;1-6)

“Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"

The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,

but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' "

"You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman.

"For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

 

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

 

the case of all problem on earth starts with the fact that the first man adam and eve were deceived by satan, had unbelief unto God and they ate the fruit to become like God and left God in the end.

From this point on man fronts on death for both body and soul and all men after adam's existence, are born with original sin.

 

(2) fundamental state of man (Rom3;23. 10. 6;23)

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

 

born with the original sin, they can't do anything about their ancesor's sin, actual sin. they live in the curse and misfortune and die in consequence of spiritual problem.

 

(3) the result (John8;44)

You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!

 

Unless three fundamental problems get solved, the six time-schedule of destruction may follow.

 

 

4. six states of non believers

 

(1) fundamental state (Gen2;17, Eph2;1)

“As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,”

 

the state of man who left God is lifeless. deadman can do nothing. they are under the influene of satan against their will.

 

(2) spiritual state (Eph2;2, Heb2;15)

"in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.“

 

they have no choice but to be taken hold of by satan, serving as a slave, following the ways of this world-superstition,exorcism,fortune-telling, worshiping idols.

they can't help to stop this but once you do it makes you fall into swamp.

 

(3) mental state (Eph2;3, Matt11;28, Acts10;38, Mark5;1-10, Acts16;16)

"All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.“

 

because they were by nature objects of wrath, apart from being successful or not they can't help suffering

 

① Matt 11;28 - they are are weary and burdened. (suffering, no rest, no satisfaction, being in hurry,conflict, anxiety,fear,scar,blame,envy,jealousy,futility,emptiness, )

 

②Acts 10:38 - symptoms of those who are under the power of the devil start to show.(depression,manic depression,insomnia,nightmare,neurosis,hysteria,delusional jealousy of his wife or husband,sociophobia,panic disorder)

 

③Mark 5;1-10 they can't do anything on their will for they are with an evil spirit.(obsession,addiction,schizophrenia,incapacity)

 

④Acts 16;16 being possessed by evil spirit, things others can't understand really happen.(illusion, auditory hallucination,being possessed by a spirit)

 

(4) phisical state (Acts 8;4-8, Proverb26;2)

hidden spiritual problems happen to be exposed by some incident in real life and they reach the limit in the midst of irresistible force which is far beyond his powers.

- repeatable accident,incident,incurable disease,chronic disease,unknown curses

 

"When the crowds heard Philip and saw the miraculous signs he did, they all paid close attention to what he said. With shrieks, evil spirits came out of many, and many paralytics and cripples were healed. So there was great joy in that city.“

 

even though one confidently say out loud that there's no problem, there is a problem that no one can leave behind - that is death

 

(5) future state (Luke16;19-31, Heb9;27, Rev21;8)

Heb9:27 "just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,“

 

Rev 21:8 "But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

 

spiritual problem that started with fundamental problem repeats itself passind down to their children.

 

(6) future generations state (Matt27;25, Ex20;4-6. 1Cor10;20)

Ex20:4-6 ""You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

 

but showing love to a thousand {generations} of those who love me and keep my commandments.

 

1Cor10;20 "No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons.“

 

 

5. man's effort and limitation

 

man struggles to solve this problem constantly

the efforts itself is good thing but a limit situation is to come for the efforts are not the right answer. people tend to do something with their own religion.

 

(1) religion (Matt12;43-45)

""When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.' When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation."

 

for each religion has its own truth and it is needed by public order however one limitaion religion has is that it can't do anything about the spiritual problem satan brings on the contrary, religion helps people worship satan and brings about more severe problem in the end.

 

and sincere people try hard with good deed

 

(2) Good deed (Isa64;6) "All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.“

 

good deed seems to be valuable in the point of people but in the presence of God it is like filthy rags and shrivelled leaf that temporarily hide sins eventually can't solve original sin.

 

people attempt to solve their problem by knowledge

 

(3) Philosophy (Col2;8) "see to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.“

 

a knowledge accumulated by experience may be reasonable but makes man to be full of arrogant, to deny spiritual facts finally it makes man deceive himself

 

 

6. God's method - covenant

 

there's no way to salvation for man. thus God who is the Creator, eternal, almighty open the only way to save us.

 

the only God's way is the covenant

 

 

(Gen3;15, Ex3;18, Isa7;14) "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."

 

the bible says the messiah who will save human being is not the man's offspring but the woman's and he will crush the snake's head. this is the heart of the bible and is the original Gospel

 

(Matt16;16-20) "Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

 

Peter confessed for the first time that Jesus is Messiah and Christ whom mankind look forward to

Jesus said Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, and he promised Peter absolute blessing

 

a word Christ refers to the anointed one. In the bible

 

(1) priest (Sin) - the one who solve problem of sins through sacrifice on the cross and his death (Rom5;8, Mark10;45, Heb9;11-14, Rom8;2)

 

"but God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.“

 

Jesus has become a God's lamb, a high priest and carried sins of the world, died on the cross,redeemed for us and atoned our sins immediately, completely, eternally

 

(2) King(Rule)-Resurrection (1John3;8, Heb2;14-15)

"He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.“

 

the Bible proclaim that Jesus died on the cross resurrected in three days, crushed head of satan who seized the human's destiny and he now standing at the right hand of God became king of all kings

 

(3) Prophet(Way)-Holy spirit (John14;6, Heb10;19)

"Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.“

 

Jesus who rules over the universe with power of the throne gives another Counselor and has become a true prophet in the heart of believers and open the new way to meet God.

 

 

7, way of salvation to meet God

 

then how could we be saved?

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

 

there is only one way to salvation

 

(1) His name (Rom 10;13)

"for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

 

first of all we have to get to know Jesus who accomplished all the covenants in the bible and hold on to his name

 

(2) faith (John5;24. Rom1;16-17)

""I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.“

 

salvation is complete,unilateral grace and gift from God and there should be faith in God's covenant

 

therefore what is true faith

 

(3) heart (Rom10;9-10)

"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

 

you have to admit Jesus is the only Christ and believe with your heart, confess with your mouth that he died on the cross for me and resurrected and work by holy spirit. the very first step to faith is acceptane

 

(4) acceptance (John 1;12)

"Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God“

 

at the moment by which you receive living Jesus Christ, identity and authority to become a child of God will be given right away.

 

(5) Immanuel (Rev3;20)

"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.“

 

Jesus will be with you if you listen to the Word of Gospel not as word of man but as Jesus voice and if you open your heart, receive him. this is salvation

 

you can accept Jesus by prayer

 

(6) when? (Proverb27;1)

 

"Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.“

 

are you going to aceept Jesus in your heart?

 

 

loving God

i've been living my life without knowing God and Christ

i've been living my life doing what i want against your will

i now confess that i am a sinner

i accept Jesus Christ the true prophet who is the way to meet God

i accept Jesus Christ the true priest who forgived of all sins by dying on the cross

i accept Jesus Christ the true king who crushed the satan's authority

i do believe Jesus is the Christ son of living God

thank you for forgiving me of my sins and for saving me as a child of God

in Jesus' name we pray amen

 

 

8. 7 blessings of believers

 

as soon as you aceept Jesus Christ in your heart 3 Status and 4 authorities are meant to be given.

walking by faith is all about enjoying your status and utilizing your authorities

 

 

(1) dwelling of the Holy Spirit (John14;16-17)

"and I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever--the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.“

 

that Holy Spirit the Counselor is with me always and becoming eternal life within is called salvation

 

(2) Guidance of Holy Spirit (John14;26-27)

"But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.“

 

going into the working of the holy spirit through a whole worship is called to walk by faith

 

(3) working of the holy spirit (요14;13-14)

"And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.“

 

from now on once you pray in the name of jesus Christ holy spirit would answer it's called the answer of prayer

 

once those 3 stutus restores 4 authorities reveals first of all authorities of heaven

 

(4) Dwell of Angel (Heb1;14. Rev8;3-5. Psm103;20-21)

"Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation“

 

if holy spirit works angels are meant to be accompanied and spiritual battle takes place finally satan will be bound

 

(5) Binding the force of satan (Luke 10;19. Mark 3;13-15,Jacob 4;7, 1John5;18)

"I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

 

once satan who is prince of this world is bound, God rules over my place and troubles and his kingdom will come

 

(6) The background of God's kingdom (Phil 3;20-21)

"But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.“

 

if God's kingdom comes power of the Gospel reveals itself and each problem and culture of darkness start to be conquered finally you become witness of world evangelization and will receive bless of disciples

 

(7) conquer (Acts 1;8)

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

 

 

9. 5 assurances and beliefs (Rom 1;16-17)

 

even though we are blessed with salvation, a shadow of your former self may remain and salvation is given pricelessly, you may neglect the value of it.

therefore not to be deceived by satan and not to hold to the covenant, you will need 5 assurances of faith

 

(1) assurance of salvation (1John 5;11-13)

 

" And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.“

 

even if unseen to our eyes, unfelt to our mind, if you can truly that Jesus is the Christ it is a definite evidence of being God's child.

 

(2) Assurance of Prayer Answer (Lk11;13) "If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!" "

 

(3) Assurance of Guidance (Proverb 3;5-6) "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6.in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

 

(4) Assurance of Forgiveness (1John1;9) "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

 

(5) Assurance of Victory (1Cor10;13. Rom8;28) "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it".

 

Rom8;28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
