Lesson 7 - How Great are the Blessings the Believer Has Received?

The saved children of God received tremendous blessings. Know the direction for receiving these blessings.

1. Your status has changed. Remember this fact.

1) Your status has changed to a child of God.

God is inside you. The place where the king dwells is the palace, and the place where God dwells is the temple. Although there may be no apparent physical differences after accepting Christ, your sataus had changed, because God dwells within the heart of all believers. (Romans 8:2, 1Corinthians 3:16)

2) The Holy Spirit always guides you. (John 16:13)

Unbelievers must live by their own strengths, but believers live according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

3) You receive the grace of being filled with the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:8)

Unbelievers live according to their own will and ultimately face limitations, but believers live by the power God gives.

2. What kind of blessing did God give to the believers?

1) God sends His heavenly hosts, angels, to protect you.

   (1) Wherever God's children go, God sends His angels to protect them.

Hebrews 1:14 - "Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?"

   (2) Whenever God's children pray, God sends His heralds to protect them.

Revelation 8:3-5 - "And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all

the saints on the golden altar before the throne, and the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of

the angel. Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth, and there were peals of thunder,

rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake."

   (3) Whenever we face crises, God sends His angels to guard us.

Acts 12:1-25 - "Now when Herod was about to bring him out, on that very night, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains,

and sentries before the door were guarding the prison. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood next to him, and a light shone in the cell.

He struck Peter on the side and woke him, saying, 'Get up quickly.' And the chains fell off his hands." (v.6-7)

   (4) Even when we are in a great crisis, angels are sent to keep us safe.

Acts 27:23-24 - "For this very night there stood before me an angels of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship, and he said,

'Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar. And behold, God has granted you all those who sail with you."

2) With the authority of Jesus, you san break down all the forces of Satan. Therefore, you do not need to go to fortune tellers, or perform ancestral rites, or possession rituals. (Acts 13:1-12, 16:16-18, 19:8-20)

3) As a citizen of heaven who has eternal life, you can enjoy all these blessings.

Philippians 3:20 - "But our citizenship is in the heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ."

Acts 1:3 - "He presented himself alive to them after his suffering by many proofs, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God."

4) You received the blessing to do world evangelization.

   (1) Matthew 28:16-20 - make disciples of all nations

   (2) Mark 16:15-20 - all nations and healing

   (3) Jhon 21:15-18 - The lamb and future generations

   (4) Acts 1:8 - to the ends of the earth

3. How can you enjoy these blessings?

1) Christ dwells within you, so if you entrust everything and fully believe, all peoblems will be solved.

Galatians 2:20 - "I have been crucified with Christ . It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

2) If you pray to God with thanksgiving, He will guard your heart and mind.

Philippians 4:6-7 - "do not be anxious about enything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

3) When you believe and ask, God always answers.

Mark 11:24 - "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believer that you have received it, and it will be yours."

4) If you pray continuously in the Spirit, you will continuously receive answers.

Ephesians 6:18 - "praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,"
