5 Trainings for Enjoying the Mystery of ‘Immanuel’

 What is training to me?

“Every morning I wake up and lay in bed, some part of my body aches.” When a contortionist from a musical troupe bends his knees and puts his head between his legs, I feel bad for him. Although an acrobat entrusts his body to a single rope suspended in the sky and performs freely like Chang-Sang1), inside he might not be feeling very comfortable. Although a swan holds its head high and glides by, in reality it must paddle vigorously under the surface of the water, panting for breath. That is why splendor is merely the front of a curtain hiding the training that lies behind its thick covering. When I first saw this photo below, I thought it was of a person who had a terrible disability. But ironically the grotesque feet belong to be one of the world’s top ballerinas Sue Jin Kang, who was born in Korea, studied abroad in Monaco on the Mediterranean littoral, and is now the prima ballerina at the Stuttgart Ballet in Germany. Fluent in Korean, English, French, and German and performing on major stages worldwide, in April 29, 1999, she received the best dancer award ‘1999 Benois de la Danse’, which is equivalent to the Best Actress honors at the Academy Awards in the movie industry; she is a self-made figure standing at the top of the world ballet field. When we look at her career, it is clear that the dazzling spotlight did not just fall on her by accident. Starting as a group dancer, which is the lowest rung on the ladder, at the Stuttgart Ballet in 1986, she was appointed Soloist after a year, and as the leading ballerina 6 years later. In 1996, after 3 more years had passed she finally ascended to spot of prima ballerina. “Every morning as I wake up and lay in bed, some part of my body aches. Body aches are an inherent part of a dancer’s life. If there is not a part of my body aching, I begin to think, what did I do wrong yesterday?” Tired from supporting her body through over 10 hours, even up to 19 hours of practice everyday, her blistered feet are so hideous, and the wounds continue to fester and the skin cracks before there is time to heal. However, with the knowledge that her blood, sweat, and tears made her what she is now, after several pairs of toe shoes a day, 150 pairs a season, and several thousands of pairs until now, I couldn’t help but see her feet laudable and precious.

Experiencing the Five Foundations through the Five Trainings Is to Enjoy the Mystery of ‘With’ The 20 Biblical Strategies (Visions) are a rightful matter of course. Because I have the Gospel, from the place where I am situated, in the Darakbang meeting, the covenant of Jesus Christ that is relayed will naturally arise and be established. Since the circumstances of individuals vary according to how revived and blessed they are, Team Ministry is necessary to help people according to God’s time schedule, and His plan of meeting. Because life, which is the foundation of my family and me, is an issue, we must be established as valuable disciples in the Mission Home. What connects my overall disposition to the key to success - being used my whole life - is our skill and occupation. Thus, we cannot separate ourselves from Specialized Ministry. Finally, the Regional Church is where we change the culture of the regions we live in and bind the forces of darkness. It is the life schedule of Remnants living today and tomorrow. Receiving training in this is the five camp trainings, and we must take a careful look. There are the five systems for continuation, and looking out toward the future that must take place is the five unities. Then, in general, what is included in the five trainings? First, there is the ‘1st Level Camp Training 3)’, where we understand the Word movement that took place in Mark’s Upper Room based on the correct understanding of the Gospel and the field. Second, there is the ‘Team Ministry Camp Training Tour’, where we understand the Word movement that took place with the members of the Antioch Church through the blessing of meeting both inside and outside the church. Third, there is the ‘70 Workers 1st Camp Training’, where we understand the Word movement that took place in the Hall of Tyrannus through evangelism camp and the regional church. Fourth, there is the ‘Specialized Team Camp Training’ where we understand the Word movement with the skills that God has given us in light of the Gospel and specialty. Fifth, there is the training that is known to be the new start of Darakbang, and that is the ‘Evangelism Camp Training.’ Through this training, the evangelism disciples will spearhead the Word movement and evangelize powerful nations like Rome. The great majority of people may understand training only in the worldly context of ‘blood, sweat, and tears,’ and they may praise those kinds of success stories, but we cannot say the same thing about the Biblical Camp Trainings. Instead, our inability is revealed all the more through the camp trainings and the confession that things work only through Christ being with us (Immanuel) becomes our confession. If there is a far distance between the Word of God and my life, we run fast with all our might, and if it is right before us, then we enjoy it more slowly, and surely together. We will share more in detail starting from the next month’s issue about the specifics of these camp trainings, the progress schedule, and what kind of preparation and management (post-training) are needed.

1) A character from the movie ‘The King’s Man.’

2) Prima ballerina is ‘the flower of the flowers’ that decorates the first performance and the last performance of a season of a ballet company.

3) Aside from the trainings that take place overseas, there is an ‘Elementary School Camp Training,’ ‘Youth Camp Training,’ ‘Businesspersons’ Camp Training,’ and ‘English 1st Level Camp Training.’ The ‘World Evangelization Evangelism Association’ and the ‘Training Center’ is in charge of each of these five trainings and registration.
