1 Samuel 1:1~11 She was deeply distressed and prayed to the Lord and wept bitterly. And she vowed a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if you will indeed look on the affliction of your servant and remember me and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a son, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall touch his head.” (10~11)

Although there were fourteen judges in Israel, they could not overcome the Philistines. The high priest Eli was incompetent and his two sons Hophni and Phineas were blinded by worldly desires. As the believers prayed solely for physical matters, Israel faced a crisis. At that time, Hannah looked at the age with her spiritual eyes and the covenant began. What must you see inside the stream or flow of the covenant?
1. The Age of the Gospel(1 Samuel 1:1~11)
When you look at the age that needs the Gospel, your spiritual condition will be corrected and answers will come. Hannah, who was miserable because she didn’t have a child, continued to pray for physical matters as well. Envious and jealous of Peninnah, Hannah used humanism in her prayers. Eventually, Hannah realized and began to seek after what God desired for the age.
2. The Gospel Time Schedule and Gospel Resolution
The Gospel time schedule is devoting yourself to God’s desires at the time He wants. There are two types of answers. Answers you have received and answers you will receive. You must put this into practice and give thanksgiving and praise to God(1 Samuel 2:1~10). Samuel lay next to the Ark of the Covenant. This meant that he entered the covenant in an age when the covenant no longer existed. It was then Samuel heard God’s voice. From that day forward, none of Samuel’s words fell to the ground(1 Samuel 3:1~19).
In time, Israel retrieved the Ark of the Covenant which was stolen by the Philistines. The Mizpah movement in which all the people returned to God took place, and David was raised as the king. Samuel accomplished what nobody else could do(Nobody). This is the goal of the covenant.
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, as I look at the age, help me to hold onto the correct covenant. Through correct devotion and resolve, guide me to go all in for the works that You desire. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

[Deep Questions]
Q. What Is My Small Devotion That Achieves God’s Great Will?
When I was an assistant pastor for the kindergarten and elementary school department, I felt regret and sadness in my heart. I asked, “Can these children properly enjoy the Gospel and the Word?” That’s why I grouped the children separately and began the Word movement.
There, I saw the evangelism field that was recorded in the Bible. That was the beginning of the Darakbang(Upper Room) evangelism movement. I visited middle and high schools every day. I discovered the reason why I had to visit on a daily basis. God allowed me to understand the Remnant movement.
In the beginning, I told the other assistant pastors who had gathered, “This is how you must evangelize.”
To those pastors whom I was close to, I said, “Let’s do evangelism like this!”
This was how everything started. These small works transformed into world evangelization.
At first, church officers would merely come and go and give devotion. After concluding all Sunday services and activities, those who wanted to gather did so comfortably. In other words, those who had gathered were the original Core Training members. The word “core” gained momentum and expanded throughout the world and eventually became the Saturday Core Training worship. My small devotion achieved the great will of God.
“...for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:13)
