The Gospel of the Resurrection to the Field
Acts 17:1~9 And Paul went in, as was his custom, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving that it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus, whom I proclaim to you, is the Christ” (2~3)

What was the greatest event in human history? It was the death and resurrection of Jesus who was without sin. God has given you the faith to believe in these two events. This faith has become the Gospel that will save everyone in the world. What are the evidences of the Resurrection that restore and enable you to enjoy the power of that Gospel?
1. Evidences of the Resurrection
Jesus who died on the cross and resurrected gave evidences to His disciples on the Mt. of Olives. Holding onto the absolute necessity of Christ and the absolute answer of God’s Kingdom, the disciples believed in the absolute promise of being witnesses of “only Holy Spirit.” When the disciples gathered at Mark’s upper room, they experienced the works of the Holy Spirit. That was the place where the church began and the power of the Resurrection started to appear as evidence.
2. Witnesses of the Resurrection
The witnesses who experienced the Resurrection and power of Jesus entered synagogues in Macedonia(Acts 17:1~9). They became witnesses in the field proving why only Jesus was the Christ and why He had to rise again. They testified and vividly experienced that the resurrected Lord was still working through the Holy Spirit.
After they testified the power of the Resurrection in Macedonia, the church of Thessalonica was established. The disciples enjoyed the color and power of faith, hope, and love. They also enjoyed the Holy Spirit and great assurance as they walked on the Covenant Journey of rejoicing always, praying without ceasing, and giving thanksgiving in all circumstances. The power and works of the Resurrection continue even today, and God has raised you as a witness in the field.
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, thank you for raising me as a witness of the resurrection faith who holds onto the covenant of “only Christ.” May I not be shaken by momentary incidents. Instead, help me to enjoy, experience, and testify the power of the Resurrection. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
[Deep Questions]
Q. Are You Enjoying the Resurrection of Christ?
What despair is tormenting you?
What unbelief is trying to break you down? Are you faced with insurmountable limitations?
If you find yourself frustrated and sighing because you’re blocked in all directions, meditate on one spiritual fact.
Where is Jesus who conquered death and resurrected right now?
For Elijah who collapsed from despair underneath the broom tree, what answers and works of the Resurrection took place?
The covenant and works of God that begin in absolute despair are the power that will renew and transcend all things.
