The biblical figures who moved the world through media had the power to go beyond all dimensions. Moses left behind the Pentateuch, Samuel left behind his media works of 1 & 2 Samuel, and while shepherding in the pasture, David left behind seventy-three poems so that others could read them. Isaiah left the book of Isaiah which contained the greatest works that arose in the Old Testament. Paul’s epistles not only spread the Gospel, but they also possessed great power as a form of media. Martin Luther’s Reformation also played a substantial role in the media. Thus, media is a great tool in this ever-changing age. What mission must those in the media possess?
1. An Ever-Changing Age
You live in an age of rapid change. Even though industry continues to develop and is now on the cusp of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, spiritual problems are getting worse. It might look like a crisis, but it must be viewed as an opportunity because God’s children possess an unchanging power. Armed with this power, you just need to provide the answer to the crisis of this ever-changing age.
2. “Me” and Our Mission
As a child of God, you must break free from your level, base, and standard, and look at God’s level, base, and standard in order to see your God-given mission. The Exodus was impossible for the Israelites, but in God’s eyes, it was just and urgent. That is why God commanded Moses to bring His people out of Egypt. If you possess God’s level, base, and standard, then the works of people being revived will arise wherever you go.
3. “Me” and Our Method
The most important part of media is its content. That is why you have to remember the fact that your method must be “only, uniqueness and re-creation.” Every morning, you should confess, “God, may only You be glorified today.” Also, if you pray to possess the Gospel eyes to discover “only, uniqueness, and re-creation,” then you will surely be able to enjoy your God-given power.
[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, please give me the power that supersedes all dimensions. Like David, help me to cultivate my God-given power in my field.
