The True Answer Given from Above

Matthew 10:40-42 The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person's reward. And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” (41-42)

  God’s greatest interest is in the dying field. This is also the reason why Jesus called His disciples and urgently sent them there. You must see the field in order to precisely know that the only answer is the Gospel. Then, you will realize the value of the identity and authority you possess. If you begin to enjoy this correctly, you will walk the path of an evangelist and the path of a disciple. When you go into the field with the light of the Gospel, what kinds of answers are waiting for you?

1. The Work of Darkness Being Driven Out
  With the Gospel, if you go into the field following the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you will see amazing works. When the light that is in you shines, demons being cast out and weaknesses and diseases being healed will be revealed. Even those who are completely dead spiritually will come back to life. All God’s children who possess the covenant are within the evangelism journey. You must preach this Gospel that God has given to you to the fields of darkness.

2. Do Not Fear
  Even though, you may come across persecution in your evangelism journey, God has told you not to fear. Persecution will rightfully happen, and it will in turn become an important evidence. You do not need to rely on worldly methods or materials because God will guard your evangelism journey. At times, persecution may come through your family as well. If that is a cross you must carry, then you just need to humbly follow while carrying that cross. On that path, the work of lives being revived will take place.

3. You Will Not Lose Your Reward
  To those who help the evangelist or do an important ministry for the sake of evangelism, important rewards are guaranteed. Receiving an evangelist is the same as receiving Christ who has commissioned that evangelist. Jesus promises that whoever gives a little one even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple will not lose his reward. To that extent, God’s absolute interest lies in evangelism and missions that save souls.

[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, help me to look at the field of darkness where Your greatest interest lies, so that I may help the evangelists who spread the light of Christ. Help me to walk the path of the evangelist who shines the light in the field.
