Rahab believed without experiencing the content of the Gospel. Hearing the rumors, she believed in the coming of the Messiah; hid the spies; and made a confident confession of faith before them. What did Rahab see?
1. What Happened Where Rahab Worked?
The king of Jericho ordered men to Rahab’s workplace to bring out the strangers who had entered her establishment. However, Rahab hid and protected the spies against the king’s command. She also informed the spies of the conditions of the people who lived in Jericho. Rahab did this because she believed in God who ruled Heaven and earth.
2. The Result of Saving People
Even though what Rahab did was extremely dangerous, she was saved because of her faith, and her entire family came to believe in God as well. In addition, Rahab and her family not only entered Canaan which was promised to the Israelites, her name was entered into the genealogy of Jesus who would be born in the future.
Rahab who made a choice of faith at an important moment enjoyed eternal answers that saved herself and others. By choosing faith in all the encounters and works that take place today, you’ll experience the work of salvation accomplished by God.
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, help me to live as a person who tells others about Jesus Christ who has changed me. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ.

[Deep Questions]
Q. Is It So Wrong to Live “Centered on Oneself?”
Is It Better to Live without Any Plans and Thoughts?
When plans proceed as expected, or when extraordinary results appear right away, people feel as if they’re on cloud nine and God is answering their prayers. On the contrary, if people get caught up in unwanted circumstances or if works don’t easily pan out, they might feel as if God is ignoring them and doesn't value them.
In addition, they can’t believe that the God who saved them is with them and leads them in the best way possible. As a result, they feel like they have to make all the plans and achieve them on their own.
In the end, being “centered on oneself” will lead to a spiritual condition that has zero interest in God’s will and plans.
