Everything is in the Gospel. Those who abundantly and practically find this in their lives every day will find true happiness. However, countless people live without knowing this mystery. Then, what is that mystery?
1. Everyone’s Favorite Path
The path to success that the world emphasizes is what everyone longs for and loves. As long as people’s self-esteem is high, they can make money by any means. Saying that people can become like God means that they are absorbed in meditation or mind training. That is a path that many people like, but it will eventually end in disaster and misfortune. Even if people have a lot of money, become famous, and receive people's approval and praise, the void in their souls will never be filled and their mental illnesses will worsen.
2. What Everyone’s Hates
This age has now reached a point where not believing in God has become the modern standard and going to church has become abnormal. Because people are unaware of God’s Kingdom, they are anxious and afflicted. But as soon as someone talks about Jesus Christ, they openly hate and reject what they hear. In this age, God is accomplishing His works through the few who possess the Gospel. Realizing the Gospel is grace in itself and being able to embrace your roll at church is proof that you’ve been called by God.
Items of immense value and worth are usually hidden. Starting now, remember that the Gospel which people hate contains life to save everyone.
[Covenantal Prayer]
Dear God, help me not to let this day pass by. Instead, guide me to enjoy new grace and fully enter Your Word. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
* Did You Know That Everything Was Included?
I happened to stay for one month at a suite in a hotel that provided meals, had a swimming pool, fitness area, and spa. However, I wasn’t able to use the swimming pool or gym even once because I didn't bring swimming trunks or sweats. For breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I ate instant cup noodles, ready- made lunches, and had food delivered to my room. Instead of using the comfortable hotel bed, I slept on the hard floor. On the day when I checked out, that was the first time that I first heard about a spa where I could’ve relaxed my stiff shoulders and back and about breakfast, lunch, and dinner that was served with various fresh ingredients.
Did you know that you possess all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge in Christ Jesus?
