Those Who Saw in Advance
Acts 16:15 And after she was baptized, and her household as well, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” And she prevailed upon us.

These days, mobile map applications have evolved to the point where you can preview your entire route before setting off. You can also pinpoint your location during the drive and even predict how long it’ll take to reach your destination. God wants you to see your Covenant Journey in advance and go on that path. Then, how can you see it in advance?
1. The Characteristics of Those Who Saw in Advance
Like Lydia; Jason; Priscilla and Aquila; and Gaius, God prepared in advance those who were used by Him. Discipleship is not a place that can be reached or achieved through man’s will and efforts. God’s prepared disciples who focused on His Word, realized His absolute plan, and perceived their personal mission. For those who saw in advance God's absolute sovereignty and desire, God gave them the power and answers to change the age.
2. Lydia Who Saw in Advance
Lydia was a disciple prepared by God. She was a dealer of purple cloth and met high-ranking people. While evangelizing, Paul and his team met Lydia on their way to find a place to pray. God opened Lydia’s heart to follow Paul's words.Acts
16:14 Later, Lydia and her entire family heard the Gospel and were saved. Afterward, she helped Paul the evangelist and received tremendous grace to save the area of Philippi.
Even now, God allows you to meet evangelists who want to preach “only Gospel” and the disciples who will meet their needs. Ultimately, through those encounters, God will fulfill the work of salvation.
[Covenantal Prayer]
Dear God, help me not to forget that the Trinity, who is in control of everything, is with me even now. Guide me to live today by seeing in advance Your plan and my mission given by You. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
* God Said to Pray without Ceasing, but How Can I Do So? Isn’t God Being Too Strict?
Praying without ceasing is remembering that no matter what happens to you today, no matter whom you meet, you are within God's absolute sovereignty. It also means to connect your constantly changing emotions and thoughts to prayer. This is the path of enjoying God who is with you, with others, and who works in everything for the good.
