God has given you a covenant that mustn’t be forgotten which is a life centered on the Tabernacle, temple, and church. You must remember the works of the wilderness when the Israelites experienced the “never before and never again” answers and challenge yourself toward answers that connect the church, occupations, and individuals as one. How can you take up the challenge?
1. Leave Behind a Commemorative Temple
God commanded you to leave behind a commemorative temple that gives an account of the Lord. The reason why the Israelites were sent into the wilderness was to experience God’s power and to relay the works of the Exodus to the posterity. Likewise, you must commemorate the works and blessings shown by God and build a temple to save the next generation.
2. Create a Spiritual System and Platform
The world is equipped with many great systems, but lacks one crucial element which is a spiritual system. Because people can’t live by bread alone, but by the Word of God, they need a springboard to praise the Lord and put spiritual healing into practice. Moreover, the spiritual system must serve as a platform so that the disciples from the 237 nations can gather to hear the true Gospel.
This is your last chance. If you’re facing physical hardships, then it’s an opportunity to discover “only.” If you’ve failed, it’s an opportunity to discover “uniqueness.” If you feel incompetent, it’s an opportunity to discover “re-creation” and continue to focus on prayer.
[Covenantal Prayer]
Dear God, may my job and meetings flow centered on the Tabernacle, temple, and church. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
* What Will You Do with Your One Life?
Harry Elkins Widener died aboard the Titanic in 1912. In order to make Harry’s death meaningful, his mother donated her entire fortune to build a library at his alma mater, Harvard University. Then the mother requested to implement swimming into the curriculum. Because Harry’s mother regretted that her son died because he didn’t know how to swim, she made this request.
The Harvard University library is famous for keeping its lights on so that the elite students from all over the world can study intensely. The fact that the lights in the library never go out is a tribute to and commemorates the life of Harry Widener.
You only have one life. What will you stake your life on and leave behind? As you think about the hidden story behind the Harvard University library, ask God important questions.
