Jesus said, “...not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.” He emphasized the covenant of Christ and promised, “Do not be anxious about anything, do not be afraid, but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses.” How can you hold onto this covenant?
1. Be Devoted to Prayer
Your thoughts and people’s words aren’t incorrect. In fact, you should listen and respect what others say; however, you’ll soon face limitations and cannot save the world. The former is solely possible through God’s power and level. That’s why in order to transcend your thoughts and level, you must be devoted to prayer.
2. Enjoy the Blessing of the Throne and Spiritual Works
Christ didn’t work in Herod's temple, but in Mark's upper room. When a great tribulation came, the Antioch Church was established through the works of Christ. All sufferings became a blessing. In addition, through Paul, those who were demon- possessed were healed, and future generations were revived through the synagogue movement.
Starting today, instead of listening to people’s words, pay closer attention to the Word of God and inscribe it in your heart. Then, as you enjoy the blessings of the background of the throne, the economy of light, and being a spiritual ambassador whom God has prepared separately, you’ll become a witness to save the world.
[Covenantal Prayer]
Dear God, thank you for giving me Christ who is the King of kings and the grace to pray in His name. May today be a turning point in my life. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
* What Is the Prayer That God Desires?
George Müller, who was famous for being a man of prayer, had his share of dark days, too. As an incompetent and delinquent youth, a pastor said the following about George.
“Although bad habits can’t be rectified overnight, God will never forsake those whom He has called as His children. Don’t be discouraged and keep fighting against sin.”
Upon hearing those words, George immediately repented. Starting from the next day, George got up at 4:00 am every day to pray and fight against himself.
God doesn't want you to be perfect. He wants you to always look toward the Him and seek His grace. And the best method to do so is prayer. At this moment, give the prayer that God desires.
