It’s important to organize God’s Word that has been given to you as your own. Once you’ve done that, your prayer topics will be naturally organized as well. Because you believe in the fact that angels who transcend time and space fulfill God’s will, you’ll be able to use that authority. Then, how was it for David?
1. David’s Life
As a boy, David cultivated his faith and skills by tending sheep. For David, who spent his time in the sheep pen, God gave him the vision of becoming king. Against the mighty Goliath, who mocked and insulted God, David quickly dispatched the giant and victoriously proclaimed God’s name. In the midst of hardships, David prayed, praised, had deep fellowship with God, and grew more spiritually mature. After becoming king, he made preparations to construct the temple which was his lifelong prayer topic.
2. God’s Desires That Were Fulfilled through David
When David praised, evil spirits that tormented King Saul departed. Wherever David went, idol gods fell and the forces of darkness and curses were bound and broken. In addition, because David was in the midst of hardships, God attached a servant to help him. For David, God’s desires were his desires.
As David prepared a temple to house the Ark of the Covenant, he couldn’t conceal his joy. That was the extent to which David held onto God’s desires.
When God’s desires become your desires, He will use all your talents including your weaknesses and mistakes as tools to testify His love. In doing so, you’ll go to places where nobody can go and do the works that nobody else can accomplish to save people.
Dear God, thank you for always giving me the best. I believe that You are with me in all situations, and You’ll fulfill Your will through all works. I pray in the name of the Jesus Christ. Amen.
* What Are the Job Duties of an Editor at a Publishing Company?
An editor receives a manuscript written by an original author, rearranges the order of the text according to the publication intention, anticipates the readers likes and dislikes, refines the sentences to make them easier to read or rewrites them to look more professional, and eliminates unnecessary or redundant parts in order to complete the book and make it ready to be published.
Starting today, set apart time to “coordinate” the notes that you’ve written during Sunday worship. Concentrate on the words that you need to remember, write them down neatly, and recite important Bible verses.
