Because God created the heavens; the earth; and man with His Word, everything in the world belongs to God and everything happens under His absolute sovereignty. A walk of faith consists of believing; acknowledging; and confessing these facts. Then, how can you enjoy God's absolute sovereignty in your life?
1. Everything Belongs to God
Everything that you’ve been given belongs to God. These include not only water; oxygen; and the natural environment, but also precious people such as parents; spouses; children; and friends as well as material abundance and health. If you believe in those facts, you can happily volunteer and give everything back to Him which include tithes and offerings. Furthermore, you can become the strength of the church and the seed that fulfills God's desire to save others.
2. What Must You Do with God’s Possessions?
All the various groups that are led by the forces of darkness create their own spaces and greatly impress the general public through various cultures and programs. The work that you who possess the Gospel, the only content to save others, must accomplish is being done in the wrong place, and those you must lead are being led in the wrong direction. You need a spiritual platform that will whole-heartedly support those who’ve succeeded but are emotionally sick, those who’ve been scarred because of their poor surroundings, those who’ve faced terrible hardships, and the posterity who are being raised.
God wants you to hold onto the specific meaning and reason of the temple so that the church can take on this role. Because you hold onto God’s desires, He wants to use you as the main figure of this work. Starting today, take what God has given and start doing small actions that please Him.
Dear God, thank you for always lighting my path with Your Word. Please help me to joyfully give back what I’ve received from You. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
* What Does the Idiom
“Putting the Cart before the Horse” Mean?
Korean: “ju gaeg jeon do” Chinese: zhǔkè diān dào
This is a very familiar four-character Chinese idiom. It describes the actions of an owner becoming the guest, and the guest changing his behavior and becoming like the owner. This expression is typically used when positions or roles become reversed. Sometimes, your life can be like that as well.
Are you busy praying to God, asking Him to meet your conditions, and at the same time, stating your interests, needs, and plans? Just keep in mind that God is the owner and you’re the guest.
Be open and sensitive to God’s needs and align yourself with His desired direction. That is prayer and the key when you communicate with Him.
