The Wilderness Is the Journey toward the Summit
Joshua 3:1~6│ Yet there shall be a distance between you and it, about 2,000 cubits in length. Do not come near it, in order that you may know the way you shall go, for you have not passed this way before.” (4)

If you’ve heard the Gospel and have become a child of God, you’re already on the journey that’ll fulfill His covenant. Even if you’re presently facing hardships, rest assured that God has prepared tremendous answers. Rather than straining to solve issues that are before you, you need to set apart an important and necessary time to ask God important questions. How can problems become answers?
1. God Who Saved You
The salvation that you’ve received as a gift from God isn’t just about going to Heaven after you die. First, He saved you from your past that was bound by sins, curses, and the forces of darkness. Next, your future is under God’s will, so you’ll live a life that fulfills His desires. Furthermore, at this very moment, the Holy Spirit resides in you and will lead you through the Word.
2. The Will of God Is Fulfilled through His Children Who Wholly Believe
There was a reason why a week-long journey lasted 40 years. It wasn’t meant for the Israelites to simply endure suffering and develop patience and willpower. God wanted to completely break down the their deeply ingrained sense of failure and acquired lethargy associated with slave life in Egypt. First, God wanted them to realize that they were no longer slaves. Second, through the blood of the Passover, they were wholly liberated. Finally, through the law of the Spirit of life, God wanted them to enjoy their status of true liberation.
The Israelites’ time in the wilderness was a journey to realize that they could never accomplish anything through their own efforts and plans. Moreover, it was a time to ask about God’s will and to change their nature to solely rely on Him. Ultimately, it was an opportunity to avoid falling into a swamp of problems and discovering what God wanted to give them through hardships.
Dear God, in this world that seems like the wilderness, grant me the grace to focus only on You, and please help me prepare my Summit posture and Summit vessel. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
* What Will Happen When You’re Able to See Your Spiritual Condition, Your Covenant, and Your Reality at the Same Time?
How is your spiritual condition today?
What is your God-given covenant?
How is your present reality?
You need to set apart a “deep time” to discover the point where these three areas can align and harmonize.
