The words of parents and teachers that have greatly scarred children will affect them throughout their adult lives. Conversely, there are those who’ve been so impressed by the books and lectures of successful people that they’ve made those words as their lifelong standard and goal. How reliable is it to believe in people’s words to the point they dictate the direction and content of your life? Then, what standard should you hold onto as you live?

1. Only the Gospel
Until now, you may have heard incorrect words and misunderstood them to be accurate. Perhaps you’ve been swayed by people's words; swept away by the stream of the world; and as a result, experienced confusion and conflict. Even if you gain a higher socio-economic status, you cannot get rid of the emptiness and anxiety in your heart. Moreover, you cannot overcome family discord or diseases through religious activities, good deeds, and your will. God knew this all too well, so He opened the only and unique way of salvation. When people believe in Jesus Christ, their fundamental problem of being separated from God will be resolved, and the spiritual background and stream of unbelief in their families and family lines will be broken.

2. Concentrate on the Word of the Gospel
If you’ve met God and resolved the fundamental problems of life, you can now experience the power of His Word. Moreover, you no longer have any reason to be chained to yourself or live as a slave to the world. It’s also ideal to have a time of concentration to listen, read, meditate, and recite God’s Word during the day. God didn’t instruct Abraham to go to any neighborhood in a random city that was in an unspecified country. Rather, God said, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you.” In other words, God promised that He would lead through His Word, no matter the time, circumstances, and environment.

It’s absolutely necessary to set apart time to give your undivided attention on God’s Word and edit your present and future life through the eyes of “only Gospel.” To those who have edited their lives with the Word of “only Gospel,” God will absolutely disclose the one-hundred-year answer that will take place.

Dear God, please imprint “only Word” in my soul, relay “only Gospel” to the field, and edit the blessing of “only” within my life. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

* Why Is Transcribing, Taking Memos, or Expressing What You’ve Heard So Vital?

You must do the work of personalizing God’s Word. Transcribing the Word as you listen is extremely helpful.

Because you have to keenly focus on what you hear as you write or type, you won't have time to think about anything else.

Another method is writing down important words.
You can also write poems by organizing your notes, draw pictures, or compose songs with the images that come to mind as you meditate on the Word.
When the Word enters deep within you, a masterpiece of “re-creation” will undoubtedly emerge.
