Although people claim to live their lives the way they want, most cannot escape the influences that they've heard, saw, and learned in childhood. For the rest of their lives, people live with scars caused by deficiencies and absence, as well as the stress and trauma from unwanted incidents and accidents. Contrary to how they feel, people are constantly entangled in their past and have unwanted painful thoughts. Is living the way that people want a truly happy life?

1. You Must Start Away
The world tells you to know what you want, believe in your inner strength, and make it happen. Although people have willpower, it’s difficult to control their hearts at will. The state of mind does not change if people make resolutions and say, “Don’t be depressed,” “Don’t worry,” and Don’t be sad.” Thoughts that invoke physical harm from others, the fear that a building may collapse, the fear of accidents, or the fear of abandonment from loved ones cannot be overcome with effort. Being in a state of separation from God, people can never be truly happy.

2. Through God-Given Freedom and Power
Jesus Christ is the only way to meet God. There's only one being who can restore and heal the burdens in the heart, the diseased thoughts, and unstable life that have come because of sin. The authority to overcome the forces of darkness can only be found in the name of Jesus Christ. Having unresolved scars in your heart and being vulnerable to problems also means that you can understand the Gospel more deeply and enjoy it more widely. Although God’s children appear to be abandoned, they’ve gained
God-given true freedom through Jesus Christ. As a result, they are “those who remain.” They’ll remain as witnesses to show God’s power to the entire world, and they’ll discover and leave behind disciples whom God has prepared.

Dear God, through prayer that transcends time and space, help me to enjoy the answer of saving the 237 nations. Please grant me the answer of the light, the economy of light, and the light that heals. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

* Are You a Person Who Communicates with God?
An elderly mother told her adult child to buy a bag of bean sprouts. The adult child drove one hour to a famous department store, took another fifteen minutes to park the car, and finally, entered the produce section of the market. After paying a fairly high price for very fresh looking “mung-bean sprouts” and other assorted vegetables at the organic section, she returned home with a sense of pride. However, the elderly mother just complained that her child just bought random groceries. How could she not acknowledge that her child spent about three hours choosing the best quality ingredients? How could she not see all the effort her child had put in?
No matter how great the child’s heart was in responding to the mother’s request, or the passion; effort; time; and money spent, or the attitude of doing one’s best, by not buying the “bean sprouts” that the mother needed, everything the child did was in vain.
