What Was Different about the Early Church?

Acts 1:1~8│“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (8)

The Jewish people, who believed that they alone were chosen and could be saved, didn’t align their direction with God. Although they faced immense hardships because of slavery; captivity; and colonization, they were still unable to realize what God had desired. However, the members of the Early Church planned and had the vision of missions while looking at the Gentiles who hadn’t heard the Gospel. How did the members of the Early Church know God’s heart?

1. Those Who Possess in Advance Will Prevail
If you focus on the Word through Sunday worship and meditate on the Word of the Gospel every day, God’s will for you will be organized in detail. At this time, your prayer topics that God desires will come out. Until this answer comes out, you just have to focus on God every day. When your personal Word and prayer get organized and edited, the evidence that God is with you in all your works will be revealed. In doing so, the Word, prayer, and works will naturally permeate in your life, and you’ll become the Spiritual Summit.

2. God Wants You to Restore What You’ve Lost Hold of Satan deceived the first people, Adam and Eve, into thinking that they could live without God and be like
Him. Even now, Satan destroys people by using the same method. He makes people live centered on themselves and not the Gospel. He causes people to listen to their inner selves and to satisfy their needs. He wants people to own a lot of possessions and spend as much money as they can. In addition, he wants people to achieve their goals and create stable foundations in order to gain success, then teach those principles to the posterity.
In this age, God has given you the Gospel and made you understand why it must be the Gospel. You need to read the heart of God who wants to restore the important things that you’ve lost hold of and adjust your life to God’s wishes.

Dear God, may I be imprinted with the things that You see as important, and may my life toward You deepen. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

* Where Do You Place Your Focus?

Depending on what you focus on, your life will change. Those who have “fallen” into games think of them even during the times when they aren’t playing. They constantly think about when they’ll play again, and worry and contemplate regarding how they can improve. As they consciously think about devising game strategies, they consciously become immersed in those thoughts. This takes place spontaneously, automatically, and unconsciously because they’re “immersed” in the game.

The “prayer of 24” that you often hear about refers to the state of being completely immersed in God.
“The Word of God is sweeter than honey! When I listen to the Word, joy and thanksgiving that I can’t get anywhere else spring up.”
Those who continue to experience this have no choice but to have deep and concentrated prayer toward God. It’s not the level of concentration that someone forced you to do or a decision that you made own your own. Without even realizing it, you constantly remember the Word and feel that you cannot live without looking toward God. As a result, you enter a spiritual condition where you want to pray and relay the Gospel.
Right now or when you're alone, examine to see where you’ve placed your focus.
