There were times when David was ridiculed by the world or was in danger which he couldn’t control. During those times, he didn’t fall into physical thoughts; instead, he discovered the absolute reason why God had allowed the crisis. By doing so, his fears subsided; went bravely before the king; and confessed the name of the Lord. Likewise, David’s insignificant skills became true missions that testified the Lord to the entire world.

1. The Absolute Reason
The crisis of Israel, which had completely lost its strength, was an opportunity to testify of the Lord’s power. When the king and generals stood by idly because they weren’t able to lift a finger, or when his brothers mocked him, David courageously lifted high the name of the Lord; went before Goliath; and gained victory. Like this, David’s small skills were utilized for missions that testified the power of the Lord to the Israelites and to the Philistines and to testify and praise His name.

2. The Absolute Missions
Philistia was a gateway that connected to the world, and at the same time, it was a field surrounded by powerful nations and filled with slaves. In other words, it was a missions’ field where people from the 237 nations and 5,000 people groups remained. When David defeated Goliath, rumors spread throughout the world which naturally became world missions that testified the name of the Lord. Likewise, if you discover the absolute reason, then missions will be the answer that inevitably follow.

Since childhood, the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon David. Likewise, it’s important for you to pray regularly and gain spiritual power. In the end, God will use your small skills and spiritual power for world missions.

Dear God, may my small skills and confession of faith be used for world missions. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
