The Remnant’s Resolve
1 Samuel 18:6~9│And Saul was very angry, and this saying displeased him. He said, “They have ascribed to David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed thousands, and what more can he have but the kingdom?” And Saul eyed David from that day on. (8~9)

It’s okay even if you don’t receive answers immediately or have a mystical experience. Being conscious of and confirming that God is with you is prayer. How did David enjoy this mystery of prayer?
1. The Eyes to See Problems and Incidents
When David was a shepherd, he always meditated on God’s Word. As he deeply meditated on the Word and praised, he wrote a number of poems,Psalm and as he looked toward God within his daily life, he deeply prayed. As a shepherd, he confessed that the Lord was his Shepherd, and when he became the king, he confessed that the Lord was his King. In fact, God had already resolved to use David as king when he was still a shepherd.Psalm 78:70~72 Even when his life was in danger such as confronting the Philistine Goliath or being chased by Saul, he looked solely to God; made decisions according to God’s desires; and took action.
2. The Entire Process Is the Answer
The past exists for today, and today exists for the future. What you’ve seen, heard, and felt as a child aren’t easily forgotten. Furthermore, they influence the rest of your life. For Remnants who’ve listened to the Gospel; given worship; and learned prayer from a young age, the Gospel will become imprinted; the living Word of God will become rooted; and they’ll grow with the nature of prayer that discovers God’s plans in all things.
Even if problems and incidents are before your eyes, you don’t have to be worried. God is with you right now and won’t leave you alone. In the end, through those problems and incidents, He will lead you to greater answers.
Dear God, I believe that all problems and incidents are the process of answers. Please grant me answers that are the best for me. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
* Why Must You Write Down Your Prayer?
The work of leaving the content of your thoughts or tasks as writings is quite meaningful and important. Thoughts quickly move from one place to another and may even vanish. As much as the brain works to think and meditate on the Word, it’s also necessary to write down the content by hand. Furthermore, writing a line of meditation and a line of prayer every day can become an essential prayer.
