SEPTEMBER 10 Sat.
Mission Home Preparations for Remnants
Acts 2:1-4 / Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. (2)
Hymn #559 All Year in Our Home the Spring Breezes Blow (Unified Hymn 305)
Mission homes must be prepared for Remnants. During the times of the Early Church, churches themselves were homes that doubled as churches because people were executed if they believed in Jesus. Within those places, Remnants existed.
1. Mark's Home
The day of Pentecost was fulfilled at Mark's home. (Acts 2:1) Starting with the day of Pentecost, God's five important time schedules were fulfilled. More importantly, these were the doors that only God could open. The Remnants of that time were able to see that. Genuine imprints don't form through nagging or programs; instead, they form on the path that you walk on and the way others see you from behind as they follow.
2. Ananias' Home
In Damascus, God Himself broke down Paul because in that place was a disciple named Ananias. God attached Paul to Ananias and told him that Paul was His chosen instrument to save the Gentiles, their kings, and before the people of Israel. This is the mission home.
3. Tabitha's Home
The Bible states that Tabitha did many charitable deeds and was a female disciple. After Tabitha died, Peter went to her raised her back to life. Through that incident which arose at her house, the region of Joppa was revived.
4. Simon's Home
Peter, who was on a missionary trip, stayed at the home of Simon the tanner. There, God gave Peter a great vision and opened a door to a man named Cornelius.
5. Cornelius' Home
Cornelius was a centurion in what was known as the Italian Regiment. Through God's works, Cornelius became connected with Peter. As a result, Cornelius' entire family was baptized, and the Holy Spirit came upon that house. (Acts 10:45)
Absolutely, you must first receive the blessings from above that God has prepared. When this preparation is done, believers will receive grace and answers will continue to come.
Dear God, may the works that arose in the mission homes of the Early Church take place in each family. From an early age, may Remnants see the true power of the Gospel and Your living works in their families and churches. Please bless them as Remnants who walk on the evagelist's path to save this age. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
