SEPTEMBER 13 Tues.

Businessperson, Jacob's 24 Hours

Genesis 32:23-32 / Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome.” (28)

Hymn #27 Majestic Sweetness Sits in Throne

You must absolutely remember that God has a plan for church worship, church positions, and headquarters' trainings. It's good to summarize the Saturday headquarters’ pulpit and the Sunday sermons into one word or sentence. Then, with what you've written, continually pray throughout the week. Regardless of answers, if you ride the stream and continue, the future will be seen. At this point, it's important to note that you must accept the errors of the church and people in order to see a more accurate future. When God calls you, He'll have already prepared everything perfectly.

1. When God Called Jacob, God Had Already Chosen Him
Jacob had already been chosen. From the time of Jacob's birth as a twin, God said that the older would serve the younger. (Genesis 25:23) Jacob's mother, Rebekah, also knew this covenant about him. However, they were unable to completely believe in God's perfect preparations. As a result, Jacob stole Esau's birthright as the first born by giving Him red stew. Jacob even deceived his father. While running away from Esau who found out what had happened, Jacob had a dream in Bethel. Hearing God's Word that He would be with him to the very end, Jacob anointed that very place with oil.

2. God Who Gave Great Wealth to Jacob for the sake of World Evangelization
It took Jacob twenty years to marry Rachel, (Genesis 30:1-24) At last, Jacob became a wealthy man. (Genesis 37:17-21) Jacob thought that he became rich because of his own efforts, but God had already decided to use Jacob and prepared an enormous amount of wealth for the sake of world evangelization. However, Jacob, who fell into misconception, tricked Laban and returned home.

3. God Who Allowed Jacob to Experience Him at the Jabbok River
In order to ease his brother's anger, Jacob sent gifts. However, as soon as he heard that Esau was coming with 400 armed men, he began to pray alone at the Jabbok River. Jacob prayed and wrestled with an angel to the point where his hip socket became wrenched. When he discarded the worldly methods and kneeled before God's methods, Jacob received the promise of Israel and the blessings of forming the twelve tribes.

Changing Jacob's name contains "24,” “25” which refer to the answers that would come, and the masterpieces that would remain for "Eternity." You mustn't forget that God has perfectly prepared everything for you.

Dear God, please open my eyes of faith to the fact that You've already prepared everything perfectly. Help me discard all unbelief and worldly methods. Please help me hold onto the Word and stand before You alone, so that I can see Your method and future. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
