NOVEMBER 03 Thurs.
The Church Officer's Experience
Acts 4:12 / "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
Hymn #335 I Have Found a Deep Peace
When should church officers experience God? They should experience God when problems, conflicts, and crises arise. Here, the whole process of experiencing God is contained. However, whenever problems; conflicts; crises arise, many church officers fall into them and die. Even the evangelism movement and church life becomes difficult because they mistakenly think, "Why is the church like this?" However, God says that's how the church must be. Ultimately, the mystery of experiencing God must come out from problems; conflicts; and crises. For those who experience these, words of "thanksgiving" should come out.
1. The 70 Church Officers Who Were Called (Luke 16:1~20)
Jesus called the 70 church officers. Being called as one of them was a miracle. Moreover, it was also a miracle to be called as a church officer to the fields where the church and pastors preached the Gospel. Therefore, thanksgiving had no choice but to come out. At that time, although the Pharisees were ministers who were honorable and respected, they ruined Israel; the posterity; and the world.
2. Those Who Were Dispatched from the Mt. Of Olives
You're the one who's been dispatched from the Mt. of Olives which is the only one in the eternal world. Therefore, all problems; conflicts; and crises are situations to be thankful for because that's where you experience God.
3. Mark's Upper Room
These church officers were in the field where the complete covenant was fulfilled only once in the Bible.
4. Acts Chapter 6~10
An important recording exists between Acts 6 through 10. God opened doors through important incidents, problems, crises, and conflicts. Among the main figures who participated, the representative people were Stephen and Philip.
5. Acts 11:19
The church that was established during the tribulation and crisis was the Church at Antioch. The fact that you're there is a miracle. It's also the reason why you must be thankful and deeply moved. Similarly, Paul was thankful and deeply moved when he was imprisoned because of testifying the Gospel.
The conclusion that you come to is, "There's only one person like me." That's why you're "unprecedented and never-repeated.”
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, please help church officers experience You within problems, conflicts, and crises. Let them be thankful for meeting the church and pastors who've been called into this evangelism movement. In addition, help me to be grateful for being called here. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
