DECEMBER 24 Sat.
"My 24 Hours" That Paul and Timothy Enjoyed
Acts 9:15 / But the Lord said to Ananias, "Go! This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel."
Hymn #413 When Peace Like a River, Attendeth My Way (Unified Hymn 470)
The following is what God said about Paul. "This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel." (Acts 9:15) This is surely discovering what God has given "me." There's a "Heavenly Mission" given solely to you by God. There's also a "calling" that shows the time schedule, and a "mission" that shows what you need to do. When you discover these, your age, abilities, and circumstances won't matter. Even if answers appear, you must always ask what God desires. When this becomes your habit, you won't speak or judge carelessly. By clearly knowing the Gospel and Satan's twelve strategies, the "absolute plan" will be seen. Only the people who know these can become witnesses and run these errands. What will happen when you discover your "heavenly mandate, calling, and mission"?
1. The Covenant Will Be Held onto in Advance
Paul received in advance the covenant to proclaim the Gospel to the Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. Similarly, Timothy was given in advance the tears that saw the future; his mission as a "soldier, athlete, and farmer"; and the covenant to proclaim the Word.
2. The Journey Will Be Seen
When you receive your "heavenly mandate," you'll be able to see everything in advance as well as the journey that must be taken. For Paul, the past became his springboard; all persecutions began; and his suffering became a turning point that led to Rome. This was the journey that Paul enjoyed. Timothy received the covenant from his maternal grandmother and mother; met Paul the evangelist in Lystra; and became the most important disciple for Rome evangelization.
3. The Monumental Blessing Will Be Left Behind
Paul left behind 14 Epistles as well as his disciples. After Paul died, Timothy, along with many other disciples, began evangelizing Rome. For those who believe, there is no end. Even in death, the end doesn't exist.
You must challenge toward God's "absolute plan" which must be done by all people at any time. Constructing the temple is God's "absolute plan" that must be accomplished.
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, may today become an important day when I hear Your voice. May Your hand comfort and lead those who give sermons; those who pray; those who praise; and all those who give their devotion. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
