The Final Opportunity for Contact Evangelism
Acts 8:26-40 | When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing. (39)
Hymn #438 Since Christ My Soul from Sin Set Free (Unified Hymn 495)
Meetings with scattered disciples while evangelizing in difficult places are very important. These meetings are both the first and final opportunities. Therefore, for those whom you meet, make these meetings into eternal opportunities so that everything will take place solely through the Gospel. Furthermore, they must be completely made into "platforms, watchtowers that possess light, and antennas that contain the accurate message." No matter what the case may be, you must help them go on the "Journey of Those Who Remained." Regardless of any problems, you must lead them on the "Pilgrim's Journey." Finally, in order to overcome darkness, you must guide them toward the "Conqueror's Journey."
1. The Gospel and Salvation
Disciples are those who give thanksgiving for the Gospel and salvation. If grace is received through anything else, then that's a lie. There are two kinds of people. First, it's the person who's replete with hidden problems. If this person suffers from other problems, the previously mentioned hidden issues will be revealed. This person must come to a full realization before Christ and mustn't have any reasons. Because the second type of person lives in a difficult region or an underdeveloped nation, deception has become his second nature. This person must be made into a spiritual elite who possesses the Gospel. Since that person was saved by grace, all the motives for being saved must be eliminated. The proof that they've been saved is the fact that they believe in Christ. From that point on, the Triune God will perfectly work.
2. The Gospel and Baptism
Philip baptized a eunuch. Baptism with water is both a testimony and an expression of faith. But in reality, it's the baptism of fire and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. These are the works that take place for those who believe.
3. The Gospel and Prayer
For those whom you meet, you must help them pray regarding 3•9•3 In doing so, the Triune God; the "9 Blessings of the Throne"; and the "3 Ages" will be established in them. Help them experience the assurance of prayer so that they can say, "This is how prayer is done!" If they don't know how to do this prayer, then even if they receive everything, they still won't have assurance.
Those who were scattered were mainly dispersed to Egypt, Babylon, and Rome. This meant that God had already prepared for world evangelization. Ultimately, you must make sure that all the people who meet you make their conclusions in Christ.
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, please give the strength to all the scattered disciples and grant them the mystery of Heaven on a daily basis. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
