JANUARY 13 Fri
The Gospel Saves Others and the Field
Psalm 78:70-72 / And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them. (72)
Hymn #263 I Hear the Savior Say (Unified Hymn 197)
The Gospel saves "me." If you don't save yourself, all fields will become difficult. So, even breathing slowly and praying for five minutes will be enough. At this time, your spirit; brain; and body will come to life through the light of creation; God's image; and His “breath of life." Then, with the filling of the Holy Spirit, an amazing blessing of seeing the future will arise. This is called the “journey.” From here, there are three journeys that must be held onto. They are "Future Camp, Prayer Camp, and Talent Camp." The Gospel not only saves you, but it'll also save others and the field. In addition, prayer will always be connected to the field. By holding onto the covenant given by Samuel, David went on a journey and discovered what he had to do for the rest of his life. From that point on, evil spirits fled wherever David went, and he received the answer of nothing becoming a problem. Also, the battle against Goliath, which was a crisis for others, became an opportunity for David. He even viewed King Saul's attacks as a journey. In fact, everything became answers; renewal; and opportunities. Like this, within continuous answers, you'll go on three journeys (3 Ceremonies) out of the "9 Journeys."
1. The Coming-of-Age Ceremony to Discover Lifetime Talents
Through Samuel, lifetime talents came to David. That's why you must never lose hold of worship and the message. As David listened to the explanation of the Ark of the Covenant, he firmly grabbed hold of his lifetime covenant.
2. The Missioning Ceremony to Discover Lifetime Specialization
David's meeting with Saul was a journey to nurture his specialization. During their first meeting, when David praised, an evil spirit departed Saul. During their second meeting, David brought Goliath's head before King Saul. Afterward, he became King Saul's son-in-law. However, from that point on, David began to live in exile to escape from King Saul who was trying to kill him. All these incidents were a journey of fostering David's specialization.
3. The Commissioning Ceremony to Discover a Lifetime Sense of the Field
Finally, David defeated Goliath and also won wars against the Philistines and Amalekites. By doing so, David enjoyed his lifetime sense of the field and went on the journey of completely dominating the field.
God has called you as the "one who remained" to save your family and the field. It may look like you're being chased and are going to prison, but you been called as the “pilgrim" and "conqueror." Starting today, just enjoy the journey that God has prepared for you.
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, thank you for giving the Word that'll be fulfilled. I praise You for allowing Remnants to enjoy the covenant given to Abraham when You asked, "Will I not reveal to Abraham what I am about to do?" May today be the day when Remnants begin to enjoy this covenant. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
