Correct Team Ministry
Acts 14:14-22 / "They preached the good news in that city and won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch," (21)
Hymn #323 Call'd of God, We Honor the Call (Unified Hymn 355)
When it became legal to block the Gospel from being preached, true disciples arose. Even though Paul was on the brink of death, he went back to Lystra because he had true disciples. Like this, when doors are blocked, it becomes the greatest opportunity to do correct team ministry. During the Old Testament times, within the situations of death because of slavery; captivity; and colonization, God raised true disciples. During the New Testament era, within legalized persecutions, true disciples who were martyrs emerged. After that, these true disciples left behind many other disciples. True disciples don't seek their own profit or fight for positions. Also, because they know that God's plan exists inside of people, they don't hate them or fall into trials. The team ministry that God desires requires you to place three points in your heart.
1. Those Who Are the Scattered Ones
When you meet those who are scattered, you must never convey "your color." To the people of Acts 2:1-13, "only Gospel" needs to be relayed. Even the lame man who sat at the temple gate called Beautiful was raised by proclaiming "only Christ." For the Ethiopian eunuch, because it was Philip's first; last; and eternal opportunity, no other words were needed. Even now, God has called you to find a true disciple like Cornelius.
2. That Field
By surely going to that field, there's something that God desires. Within places where those who are scattered exist, God will only select true disciples; open doors to missions, and commission those who are absolutely impossible as missionaries. In Lystra, where Paul was almost stoned to death, his greatest disciple Timothy emerged. Although it may have seemed as if God had blocked the doors of evangelism, He sent Paul to Macedonia to meet a prepared disciple. Within that field, God had prepared a person like Jason. Furthermore, in Tyrannus, God raised other hidden disciples who went on to do the "Word Movement" for two years.
3. The Future (The Synagogue)
In the synagogue, Paul taught true disciples who were Remnants and the future about the imperativeness of Christ; prayer; worship; God's Kingdom; and the "Throne's Blessing."
In Korea, the number is 400,000. For the world, that number is 10 million. In the U.S., because of the 5,000 universities, the number is 1 million. For country "A," the number is 3 million. These are the number of disciples that must arise. Because God will attach these true disciples, there's no need to worry.
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, thank you for helping me organize the messages this week and granting another great direction that'll fulfill the works that You desire. At this time, establish Your Kingdom within the 10 million places where world evangelization will take place. Right now, please bind darkness in all the places that are related to Your servants. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
