The Blessing of Salvation That Must Be Restored – the Watchman
3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.

Church officers are watchmen who enjoy the blessings of Salvation. Jesus commanded them to save the world, but 99% of church officers follow the world. A more serious problem is when these church officers bring in worldly ideologies into the church. Therefore, churches of the entire world have no choice but to crumble because they follow the world. Likewise, Satan establishes worldly oneness and hinders churches from enjoying the blessings of Gospel oneness. What kind of watchmen do the church officers have to be in this kind of age?
1. The Watchmen Who Restore the Gospel
When church officers take on the roles of the watchmen, God’s works take place. In the age of slavery, Jethro took on an important role as a watchman. In the age of kings, when Israel lost hold of the Gospel and lacked strength, God raised Obadiah as a watchman. The Gospel disappeared and yet again, an age of captivity befell them. In order to restore Israel, Nehemiah swayed the heart of the king. In the age of colonization, Gaius became a watchman who helped all the evangelists starting with Paul.
2. The Watchmen Who Enjoy the Gospel
Church officers are watchmen who enjoy the accurate Gospel as the answer. However, churches of the world relay an incorrect Gospel because they are not able to enjoy it as their own solution. Therefore, they relay a different Gospel or enjoy it haphazardly and relay a mixed Gospel. Some even use the Gospel for their own benefits. Church officers must not block this using their own strengths, but rather in the midst of holding onto the covenant, they simply need to take on the role of the watchmen who guard the church and the Gospel. It’s okay no matter how many attacks the church receives from the outside. As long as church officers who enjoy the Gospel don’t shake, the church will absolutely not waver.
3. The Watchmen Who Relay the Gospel
Church officers can do the that work politicians or pastors can’t do. It was Philip who went into Samaria, a place where Jewish ideologies could not be taken into.(Acts 8:4~8) A person who also relayed the Gospel to the Ethiopian eunuch, who could be referred to as a TCK,(Third Culture Kid) was none other than Philip.(8:26~40) In addition, important watchmen who relayed the Gospel by regions are recorded in the book of Acts. Lydia and Jason are church officers who conquered Rome. Like so, church officers are watchmen who gather the nations,(Isaiah 62:6~12) awaken others,(Ezekiel 3:17~20) and protect evangelists.(Romans 16:1~27)
[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, may I become a church officer who restores the blessing of salvation. May I also be a watchman who restores, enjoys, and relays the Gospel.
