Samuel gathered all the Israelites at Mizpah. There, he said that the disasters suffered by Israel weren't the fault of the Philistines, but of Israel, (1 Samuel 7:3~7) The first key regarding "The Mizpah Movement" was the fact that Samuel gathered all the people and prayed. At that time, tremendous works arose. As you can see, one person's prayer is this essential. The fact that they gathered at Mizpah meant that they had set their standards on God. Although you aren't capable, you've set your level and standard (Goal) on God. This implies that you've completely returned to Him. In doing so, because you've set your standard; level; and base on God, your prayers will surely change the world. Then, what covenant must you hold onto?

1. The Mizpah Movement
Through the prayer of one person, "The Mizpah Movement" was prepared by God. At the end of the book of Judges, it's stated that people acted according to their own opinions. At that time, through Hannah, who held onto the covenant of the "Nazirite," God prepared the restoration of Israel. If one person correctly restores the covenant, God will surely renew everything.

2. Samuel
Through Samuel, God fulfilled "The Mizpah Movement.” When Samuel was just a young boy, he heard God's voice. (1 Samuel 3:4~19) Later, he made all the Israelites discard their idols and led them back to God.

3. Afterward
More importantly, it's what happened after "The Mizpah Movement." Without even going to war, Philistia was defeated which was an absolutely impossible situation. For the first time, peace had come to Israel. While Samuel was alive, all the Israelites believed in the Lord. Moreover, Samuel also relayed the covenants of the Ark of the Covenant and the temple to a young David who took them to heart and prepared for temple construction throughout his life.

When you hold onto the covenant, your family; family line; and church will live, and the field; nation; and age will be revived. That's why you're the "one who remained" to enjoy these blessings, the "pilgrim" who'll go into the whole world, and the "conqueror" who'll overcome the forces of darkness.

Gospel Memory Verse [John 15:7]
Bible Reading [1 Corinthians15:1~11]

[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, please pour down Your grace that's been prepared today upon all believers. May today be the day when unbelievers change their fate and destiny by hearing the covenant. May it be the day when I hold onto the accurate covenant. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
