OCTOBER 21 Sat.

The Remnant Who Saves the Jewish People

Acts 1:8 / "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Hymn #506 God's Good News to All the Earth

When Remnants study, they must set that standard for saving everyone. In particular, attention should be paid to Jewish people because for Remnants, they're the "ends of the earth." Even though the Gospel began with Jewish people, they've lost hold of it. That's why testifying Christ to Jewish people is the "ends of the earth."

1. Analyzing Jewish People
Jewish people memorize the Talmud, Torah, and Shema. In addition, they read stories of great people every day, and strictly observe the Sabbath. If Jewish children discover their talents, they have a Coming-of-Age Ceremony. Furthermore, Jewish parents attach experts to their children and help them gain expertise. Once children discover their specializations, they're connected with synagogues. Moreover, the lodge is the place where their full-fledged walk of faith begins. Even before they head into the "field," they've already conquered it. By reading those three books and biographies of renown figures and thoroughly observing worship, they discover their "talents." Because God first gave the Gospel to their nation, He also blessed them. However, the Jewish people didn't realize that and became arrogant.

2. Failure (Problems)
As a result, Jewish people have utterly failed. Jesus said, "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" However, the Jewish people thought that God had given the Gospel solely to them. That's why they didn't relay it to others. Furthermore, because they had received so many answers, they lost hold of the Gospel.

3. God's Plan
Instead of Israel's failure of being a disaster, it was God's plan. In fact, without receiving the filling of the Holy Spirit, people went as slaves; were captured in war; held as captives; were colonized; or became a wandering people. These people were called "stumps, those who remained, scattered ones, and sojourners." Among these scattered Jewish people were the ones who proclaimed the Gospel.

Right now, God is trying to restore everything through Remnants. That's why "The Remnant Movement" must be carried out.

Gospel Memory Verse [Mark 11:24]
Bible Reading [2 Timothy 1:1~18]

[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, please open the eyes of Remnants so that they can be properly led by the Word. Help them to fully see what You are doing. Right now, may Your Word be relayed to Remnants throughout the nation and the world. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
