DECEMBER 05 Tues.
The Remnant's Morning
Mark 1:35 / Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
Hymn #308 When I Think of the Life Passed
Prayer is being with God. Consequently, answers which are beyond people's imagination come. That's also why the Remnant's morning is very important. Even Jesus prayed very early in the morning. (Mark 1:35) Every day throughout his life, Immanuel Kant went hiking at the same time every day. It was said that people what time it was when Mr. Kent passed by. During his hikes, Immanuel Kant had many thoughts.
1. Early Morning Hours (Mark 1:35)
Remnants must have an earlier start time than others. Jesus also went to a secluded place very early in the morning and had a time of quiet and tranquility. By just having this time, today's Remnants can conquer the world. Within that time, everything about prayer and health is included.
2. A Time of Prayer (Psalm 5:3)
David said, "In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice." By having time like this, Remnants can gain tremendous leisure and strength. When everyone else is sleeping, Remnants can make many preparations. Moreover, the early morning times can provide benefits in regards to health.
3. A Time to Go Ahead (Psalm 78:70-72)
This is the time to go ahead. When David was a shepherd, he wrote poetry; praised; had holy meditation; and honed his skills. At that time, all shepherds practiced slinging rocks to protect their sheep from predators. Among them, David was so skilled that he didn't lose even a single sheep. From that point on, God raised David to become king.
The Remnants' present will become their future. When David was a shepherd, he said, "The Lord is my shepherd," and when he became king, he said, "The Lord is my King." When David saw King Saul, who was possessed by an evil spirit, he said, "The Lord has anointed him." When David ran away because of great difficulties, he heard Shimei cursing him and said, "He's doing it because God told him to do so." In this way, what Remnants think about now is their future. That's why they don't need to feel discouraged or be confused today. Within prayer, if Remnants study, God will take responsibility, so Remnants must surely change their priorities.
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, at this time, may the Spirit of the Lord work upon all Remnants throughout the nation and the world. Please open their spiritual eyes to see any difficulties or success through Your power and plan. Starting today, within prayer and "The Throne's Power," may they do their studies. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
