The Divine Power to Destroy Strongholds

2 Corinthians 10:1~8 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. (4~5)

When you encounter spiritual problems, human comfort isn't the answer. Christ defeated the forces of darkness and Satan's authority that continued to torment people. Only when God's Word is believed will answers and changes come. To Augustine, who was wandering, and to Sundar Singh, who was about to die, God's Word came upon them. Moreover, God's Word came to Frannie Crosby; Anne Sullivan; and Helen Keller who had no one to help them. The Church at Corinth became completely ignorant of the spiritual world due to long-standing problems regarding the state, church, and family. The power of God's Word saves people and destroys all theories, Satan's bartizans, and strongholds. One person, Priscilla, completely saved the Church at Corinth and turned it into a church that carried out Rome evangelization. Who were Priscilla and Aquila?

1. Those Who Held onto What Christ Had Given
These were the people who held onto what Christ had given at Mark's Upper Room Church. They possessed the answer to destroy strongholds. Christ had instructed them to change the ways of the world, seek the works pertaining to God's Kingdom, and told them to wait because they would be filled with "only Holy Spirit."

2. What Did Priscilla and Aquila Relay?
Priscilla and Aquila were present in the field of Mark's upper room. They conveyed the message given by the Lord who resurrected and accomplished everything on Calvary and relayed the works of God's Kingdom which was the mission of the Mt. of Olives. Furthermore, they relayed the fact that Satan's bartizans were completely destroyed at Mark's upper room.

3. What Was Relayed through Paul Who Met Priscilla and Aquila.
Paul met Christ near Damascus. Through Ananias and Priscilla and Aquila, the message to destroy the bartizans of darkness was relayed. In addition, that message was conveyed to synagogues; fields that were filled with spiritual problems; and throughout Macedonia and Rome.

Now, by holding onto and focusing on the Word, the world can be changed. Through prayer, hold onto the watchman's covenant to destroy Satan's bartizans; raise God's bartizans; and go into the field.

[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, thank you for raising me as today's watchman whom this world doesn't know. Help me break down both darkness and Satan's strongholds. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
