Abraham Who Changed His State

Genesis 13:14~18 Arise, walk through the length and the breadth of the land, for I will give it to you.” So Abram moved his tent and came and settled by the oaks of Mamre, which are at Hebron, and there he built an altar to the Lord. (17~18)

The more powerful a country is, the more severe are its addiction issues. Addictions are deeply linked with the spirit, however there aren’t people or systems set in place that can help these desperate addicts who are standing before walls of incompetence. Back in the days of Abraham, similar issues could be found among individuals. What did Abraham change, and how did he become the main figure in establishing a new frame?

1. When You Discard Unbelief and Gain Faith
Because Abraham could not discard his unbelief, he chose Lot to accompany him. Later on, they faced severe discord and division. At that time, Abraham chose faith over unbelief, so he was able to yield everything to Lot. Unbeknownst to Abraham, what he actually held onto was the most important point that was unseen to his eyes. As a result, he received tremendous answers.

2. When You Grab Hold of God’s Covenant and Enjoy Today
At this time, the covenant that you have grabbed hold of starts to become actualized. You can hold onto the covenant and enjoy “today.” The moment you discard unbelief you will begin to hear God’s promised Word. When God’s Word begins to become imprinted, no matter what direction you go, those places become your field of answers, and you will save every place you set foot in. Therefore, it is very important to create a spiritual state where the Word is fulfilled and prayers are actualized.

3. The Mystery of the Altar
Holding onto this covenant, Abraham began to build the altar. He enjoyed the very first spiritual blessing that he received. When Abraham enjoyed this mystery, his spiritual strength was restored, and he became the Spiritual Summit who overwhelmed the surrounding united forces. Later, he defeated the king of Sodom and became a man of prayer who saved the world. When you also enjoy worship and build an altar of faith within God-given relationships, the covenant to save the field, and the answer of God’s Word will be actualized.

[Prayer of the Evangelist] Dear God, let deep, covenantal prayers begin today. Please help me restore the blessings and power to save the field by deeply listening to Your Word.

[Gospel Memory Verse] 2 Corinthians 4:4
In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
