The Remnants Who Were Prepared in the Early Church

Acts 17:1-9 / Some of the Jews were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas, as did a large number of God-fearing Greeks and not a few prominent women. (4)

From the moment the first evangelism movement started to become greater, Paul entered synagogues. That was the Remnant movement which was prepared by the Early Church.

1. Ordinances
It's stated that Paul entered “as his custom was.” This meant that he had a plan regarding prayer. In the field, there was the synagogue which was "the absolute facility"; Jason who was "the absolute disciple"; and the Greeks and prominent women who were "absolute bartizans." This prayer was something no one could stop.

2. That Which Was Relayed
There were points that Paul relayed to Remnants. The most important aspect for Remnants is their time schedule. (Acts 17:1~3) This is what Remnants and all people need. No matter how great a person may be, he or she mustn't lose hold of that time schedule. Paul explained the imperativeness of Christ to Remnants. He explained why it mustn't be anyone other than Christ. No theory, law, or religion could ever do. Ultimately, Paul relayed the imperativeness of Christ to important disciples.

3. The Answer of the Absolute Bartizan
As a result, "the absolute answer" of the bartizan arose. Today's Remnants must enjoy, create, and remember this. First, those answers are “faith, hope, and love." By believing in those three points, works will happen. In addition, if the hope of Remnants is certain, they can endure anything. If they can love, they can work hard. (1 Thessalonians 1:3) Second, the answers are the Holy Spirit; power; and deep conviction. (1 Thessalonians 1:5) The Israelites were silent for six days, and as a result, Jericho fell. For forty days on the Mt. of Olives, the disciples held onto God's Word and the world changed. Third, it's the answer of becoming a model for all regions. (1 Thessalonians 1:7) If Remnants become models and receive answers, people will come, and they'll live.

Within this, Remnants must do “24” and wait for "25." In doing so, they'll leave behind the masterpiece of “Eternity.” By holding onto the message and praying deeply on Sunday, works will happen. Those who don't know "prayer 24" will have difficulty living their walk of faith. They'll be bound by work and people and lose hold of what's real. When Paul did "24," change arose in the world. In the end, Paul never once stumbled because of people's words.

[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, thank you for giving the age of Friday; Saturday; and Sunday today. May all Remnants become the main figures of that age. When believers give worship tomorrow, may they be clothed with Your tremendous grace. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
