The greatest blessing for Remnants is meetings with others. In the synagogue at Corinth, Remnants who were taught by Priscilla; Aquila; and Paul gained the greatest opportunity.
1. Priscilla and Aquila Who came from Rome
Many scholars speculate that Priscilla and Aquila may have seen the works that took place at Mark's upper room. (Acts 2:10) In Corinth, they met the evangelist, Paul. (Acts 18:1~4) At the synagogue in Ephesus, they met Apollos, who was giving a lecture about Jesus. They explained God's way more accurately to him. (Acts 18:24~28) They also used their home in Corinth as a regional church (1 Corinthians 16:19) and went to the forefront of Rome evangelization by helping Paul, (Romans 16:3~4)
2. What Kind of Person Was Paul?
He was a person called by Jesus Himself. (Acts 9:1~15) He went to the Church at Antioch, met Barnabas, (Acts 11:25~26) and was commissioned as a missionary. (Acts 13:1~4) In Troas, Paul had a night vision about being called to Macedonia, (Acts 16:6~10) In Corinth, he met a couple named Priscilla and Aquila who shared the same occupation as him. (Acts 18:1~4) In Ephesus, he baptized others in the Holy Spirit and preached about God's Kingdom in the synagogue for three months. Furthermore, he preached in the lecture hall of Tyrannus for two years. As a result, Jewish people and Greeks heard the Word of the Lord. (Acts 19:1~20) When great works occurred in Tyrannus, he held onto the covenant of Rome evangelization. (Acts 19:21, 23:11, & 27:24)
3. Works That Were Done in Corinth (Acts 18:1~4)
Every Sabbath, he went to the synagogue and taught Remnants about worship and prayer.
For Remnants, having this kind of meeting isn't easy. That's why, they need to encounter different worlds by reading books. However, because Remnants don't have time to read a lot of books, they have to choose carefully. Depending on the books, some can be read in parts, for some, just reading the table of contents is sufficient, and for others, they need to be read intensively. It's very important how well Remnants utilize the book. When Remnants read books, it's ideal to first look at who wrote it and then look at the table of contents to see what must be read. Afterward, they must have the wisdom to compare what they've read with the Word. The Remnant years are the last opportunity and the best time.
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, may all Remnants enjoy the age of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in order not to lose hold of their Remnant years. May they be victorious in worship, and through prayer, help them enjoy their studies. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen.
