Obeying God’s Word
John 15:1-12 / If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in his love. (10)

Obedience is going to the place of God’s Word fulfIllment. When the Israelites were slaves, captives, and colonized, the reason for God’s Word being fulfilled was because the 237 nations and 5,000 tribes resided there. Even right before Jesus’ death, He spoke of the things that must be changed and works arose at Mt. Calvary, Mt. of Olives, and Mark’s upper room. Jesus gave a parable about a house being built up on a rock rather than sand. The foundation of the rock is Christ. You must build your church on this foundation for it to never crumble down. It’s because the forces of darkness and Satan fear only Christ.
4. Assessment and Results
Obedience must come from faith and faith too must come from obedience. Faith and obedience go hand in hand. When Moses obeyed God’s covenant, he was able to fulfill everything with just a stick.
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, may I completely enjoy the blessings of the one who belongs to You. With my whole heart and soul. may I serve You alone, carry out Your Will, and live an obedient life towards Your Word Thus, may the Devil not get a foothold. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
